    Default M/C question

I was wondering, how many miscarriages do you have to have before the dr should look into another option?

Last month, I had what they said was a chemical pregnancy. This month my test results started off good and now got worse. I go back tomorrow for more tests but the nurse is saying I am getting ready to m/c anyday now.

So it seems that my problem isn't getting pregnant, its staying pregnant! Is there anything I should be asking my dr to do or give me because I almost feel like giving up but if there is just something that I can take that would help, then I would try that...

    Thanks girls!

I don't have any advice to offer. I just wanted to say that I am so very sorry.

I am so sorry that you may be losing your little one..

This link will explain the testing some women go through for repeated pregnancy loss..

    http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/miscarriage/rpl.html

I would start with the blood work..Discuss this with your doctor.

Please KUP on how you are doing?

    Well the results are in...

    My numbers doubled!!!!

What a miracle! The nurse didnt even know what to say, she expected it to be the worst. She actually said to me, I am confused by your numbers lol...

So the dr says that maybe what could have happened is I had 2 sacs growing for my first blood test, then lost 1 sac, and thats why only my progesterone went down for the second blood test. My HCG had stayed the same. But now both numbers have doubled.

    Thanks girls for your support!

Well more bad news for me...

My HCG and Progesterone keep going up but they are not doubling, not even by a long shot!

Well they did double last week.. but yesterday my HCG went from 52 to 60 and my Progesterone from 15 to 24. Now I guess its good that they are going up and not down, but so slowly??? Doesnt that indicate that I could have an ectopic pregnancy?

I over heard a nurse tell another nurse that I am pregnant but that Im losing the baby and its just a matter of time. So if not ectopic, then I guess they are just waiting for me to m/c....

Have any of you been through the same situation?

I will be honest...It does not look good That said, have them follow your levels a few more times...over the next week..Just to see what happens...

The preg. could be failing on it's own...Could be ectopic, or a BO...No way to know at this point

I have been through a few where my numbers were like yours. But I lost them to early to know what the problem was...So, I am thinking they were not ectopic, because I lost them naturally....
