    Default Need some advice

hi, ladies i am after some advice my doctors are telling me that i am currently miscarrying as i have been bleeding for a week and in hospital for a cpl days,
but they are saying that the "baby" is still there and attached in the right place but, isn't growing its has decided to stop growing at 6weeks and 3days, i have had loads of internal scans and they just keep coming back as the same, but they are saying that there is blood flow still going through it, i have to go back on Thurs for more scans and bloods, and they said if its still the same then, they would have to look at the surgery root, i am very confused as my body still saying its pregnant as i keep taking test in which all coming back pregnant, but my pregnancy levels dropping in my blood but only by 10 a week.
    any advice welcome please x

I am sorry. Somethimes it takes a while for the hCG levels to fall and your body to understand you are not pregnant. At 6 weeks, they should be able to see a heart beat. I would go for your scan later in the week and go from there. Sending lots of hugs and prayers.

I am sorry you are going through this. My baby stopped growing at about 6 weeks, but I did not miscarry until 11 weeks. I started getting a tummy and everything. I thought if the symptoms were there, it meant the baby was ok. Sorry I don't have anything more hopeful to say.

Hi, i got back from doctors today and they said that there is NO visible pregnancy, but the sac is still there, and its grown 3mm, in a week i have to wait another 6 days, and if nothing changed they will be doing a DNC, i think they are hoping it will come away naturally but ive been bleeding now for 2weeks and nothing has changed in all 6 scans i have had,
my pregnancy levels are dropping by 5 a day.
    Thanks for advice

So sorry this is taking awhile. IF it's of any comfort, my baby stopped growing around 10th week, but I didn't deliver her until the 16th. I had wanted to do it naturally, but it took a lot longer than I had thought or even imagined.
I believe it is your choice, but it was very difficult for things to take over a month for me. I kept my hopes up, thinking some miracle would happen and they were wrong. I don't know if I would change how it happened, I guess I just wish it hadn't happened at all.

That being said, I hope that you find comofort today and every day. Remember you're only human, so don't beat yourself up for your feelings. There's no "correct" way to deal with this, there's just getting through it.
    Sending you warmth and love,
    Michelle
