    Default Need some advice.

Hi everyone. I just gave birth to my baby Allison on 12-30-09. She had passed away about 2 weeks prior to that. She passed at about her 22nd week. Of course I am miserable, going between anger, sadness, guilt, regret, etc. I have purchased a couple books but they do not seem to help much. Does anyone know of any groups, books, or maybe even rituals/traditions that could be helpful in dealing with this grief? Does anyon have any advice on how I can make sure my husband is grieving and receiving the suuport he needs? I am just so confused and miserable...

I am sorry for your loss.

I would recommend contacting your OB/midwife for support group ideas. I know our hospital has many groups/classes available.

I am sorry for your loss, it must be so hard. I agree with PP, contact the hospital.
My SIL lost twins at 24 weeks and they had a counselor who came right to their house. She also hooked them up with a support group.

Let me know if you have problems finding something, I can see what I can find.

I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Allison. I have found the message boards to be a great place to find other women to talk to. It's hard, it's been five years for me and I still find myself going through tons of emotions. But believe it or not, as time goes on, you do find a way to breathe a little easier. It still hurts, but you find yourself not crying as much. You will always miss your baby, but know that there are many of us who share this road with you and open are arms and hearts to hear you.
