    Default New to board..recent loss m/c =(

Hello my name is Amy and i am 21 years old. This was my first pregnancy.

i had my first ultra sound today because yesterday i noticed a little pink spotting when i went to the bathroom. I went in for my u/s and the baby had no heart beat .the baby measured at 8 weeks ...a week behind then what i should have been and the sack had shrunk really small around the baby.

My dr told me it was nothing i could have caused.
Now i just have to wait for my body to miscarry on its own the dr told me it could take anywhere from one to two weeks. I really don't want to have D&C or anything like that. I hope my body can pass it on my own. As of right now i feel fine no cramping or anything.

Maybe it was just not ment to be right now. Everything happens for a reason. I am very upset but i will get through this. It is just very hard because i had already fell in love with this baby. This baby was very much planned and wanted. =(

I plan to TTC again once i am able to. Do you gals know how long i have to wait to do so?

Thanks for listening to my story. I will prob frequent to this board for a while now.

    Amy

First off I am sooo sorry that you are having to go through this! We found out on 5/15 by u/s that we were losing our baby and I didnt actually lose the baby till the 19th, as I also did not want a d&c! However I did bleed lightly up until then and for about a week and a half after! The heavy bleeding lasted mainly that one day! I would like to mention the idea to you of asking for a prescription for a pain med if you were not given one! My dr gave me one b/c he said it might save a trip to the er if you end up going solely b/c of the discomfort. Our dr told us we were free to start trying again once I got my period back which he said could take any where from 4-7wks! Hope this was helpful and I am TRULY sorry for you and please feel free to pm me if you need ANYTHING at all! You and your family will be in my prayers!

My dr didnt perscribe any pain meds for me. Yeah i may call and ask if i can get some. I have done alot of research and i had no clue how painful it will be. I am sorry for your loss as well. Thank you so much for the advice.

I am so sorry for your loss. I rec'd my news last Saturday that I would m/c. I didn't really feel anything for a few days. On Wednesday and Thursday I had some spotting and yesterday I started to bleed very heavily. I've had some cramping and extreme feelings of uncomfort since yesterday and have been taking Advil and resting. The Advil seems to be helping me physically. For me it is more emotionally painful if anything at all. I'm just thankful things happened naturally and I hope the same will happen for you.
Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to talk - I'll be thinking abou tyou and your family. (((HUGS)))

I am so sorry for your loss. I understand what you mean about being in love with the baby already, I fell in love too. It's such a sad situation that I would not wish on anyone. My Dr. Told me to Try and wait 2 cycles. I got my first AF eight days ago and I decided I need to try this cycle. For my own sanity.

    I'm so sorry.
We all know how much it hurts to loose a little one.
No matter how old, you're already attached to them, you already love them and it still hurts.
We're always here for questions, vents, anything... there are so many wonderful ladies here. They helped me a lot.
