This link should work to get to the story about the doc that did my c-section. I got my records today and the timeline written by the docs themselves says that Damien went into distress 13 minutes after I was checked in. On top of that the pending case against the other officer is one where she sent a woman home repeatedly and after emergency c-section to deliver her child the woman passed from untreated bacterial meningitus. I just happened to "hit the jackpot" and get both of these women. Thank god we somehow ended up getting the lawyer that we have. The coincidence of it all is a little freaky. On top of that, per their timeline info, I was nearly gone as well. My blood pressure was high 150s over high 90s and my heart rate was only 70 bpm. At one point my heart rate dropped down to 65 bpm. I honestly believe that I am lucky to be alive. Now, whether it takes 3 years or 10 I don't care. This will be followed out to the bitter end.

Oh my goodness. Its truly amazing that she still had her license to practice medicine. We all have a governing board that we have to answer to, it seems that she simply fell through the cracks. What she did to you and Damien is reckless. It cost your precious son to lose his life and endangered yours. She will be made accountable, we just have to be patient. This may take years, and the bitter end will result with no winners, but at least Damien death won't be in vain. Justice will be served.:justice:

That physicial had 15 violations against her in that wrongful death? And she's still practicing. That's amazing and wrong to me.
I'm glad that you got your records, I hope that the system doesn't drag this out for too long. Some closure for you would be nice. I wish you strength and peace.

My heavens. Why is that woman still practicing? This case happend over 5yrs ago. The poor woman and her family. And it is amazing you are alive, and I am so sorry that you had to lose Damien because of her negligence. How many others have been affected by her "care". It really sickens me. Hugs!

If you are interested in telling your story, I would advise you to contact my lawyer. His name is sean cronin. He is located in jacksonville florida. his firm is croninmaxwell. Whether or not you contact him is entirely up to you. I understand that sometimes things need to be laid to rest and other times need to be pursued. However, if you would like to have your story of her shoddy treatment known, pm me and I will give you his email address.

I am so sorry to hear that yet another woman has had her life tainted by the substandard care of this woman.

Wow!! I cannot believe that woman is still practicing. If I read the article right, she screwed up in one hospital so they transferred her to another? What the heck is that supposed to solve? I'm so sorry you are going through this but I commend you for seeing it through. Based on the woman's past, I'm sure by pursing this you will be helping many families from going through what you and yours have. Please continue to keep us posted on what is happening
