October 15th: Remembrance Day Events Today!

The month of October has been designated to raising awareness for Pregnancy & Infant Loss. October 15th is specifically set aside as Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day -- a time to remember and honor those precious little ones gone too soon.

Throughout this week, we have held a number of topic discussions that all will remain open on our Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support board. Today, we invite our members to join in our "Remembrance Day thread". You may participate by naming/listing your loved ones lost too soon, sharing special poems, quotes, memorials... whatever you wish.

For those that have not experienced a loss, please know you are welcome and encouraged to drop by and show your support.

Additionally, we hope that everyone will participate in our final events this evening:

Just lit my candle.

I was out to dinner...with a candle lit at our table.

I've been having a remembrance weekend...lit a candle and thinking (mostly) positive thoughts about my experience and those I know who have experienced loss as well.

Thanks for all of those that took part throughout the week. My hope is that we can continue to give one another support throughout the year... and even more so, that in time LESS women will have a need to join us in this journey.
