    Default Postpartum depression

Has anyone delivered their angel and then developed postpartum depression? It is possible if you delivered. I am just wondering because I seem to have all the symptoms of it. I thought I was going crazy but maybe this is what it is. Any thoughts?

I would say that it is absolutley possible. Physiologocally, your body goes through all the same things. I even had milk come in although I was only 7 weeks along...I would call your doctor (ob/gyn). There seems to be this stigma attached to it and there shouldn't be. It's a legitamate illness. Take care and I'm so sorry you are going through this.

Yes, for sure, if not even worse. Not only are you going through the normal no-longer-pregnant stuff, but you are grieving as well. Don't hesitate to go to your doctor, they can help.

I'm sorry for your loss. It is possible that you have PPD, or could be just plain depression.
I suffered from major depression after my first loss. l/c ment...

As one currently suffering from PPD, call your OB or PCP. Catch it early and it is a lot easier to manage then keep thinking it will get better on its own. Do not be ashamed for feeling the way that you do, you suffered a loss.
