    Default Prayers needed (death ment)

Ladies, I am so sad right now. A really good friend of mine that I teach with lost her baby tonight. I hope you don't mind that I am posting this here, but I just am really having a hard time wrapping my mind around this.

She is diabetic, so considered high risk. She was due to have a c/s in 3 weeks. She had been going for appts twice a week at least. Everything was fine. She was as huge as a house, but always had a smile on her face The baby was already at least 9 pounds.

I was supposed to go to her house this afternoon and finish painting the nursery. She called to tell me that at her appt. they said her amniotic fluid was high. It had been high earlier in the week, but the baby seemed fine. I guess a high level is 28 and her level was at 45!! They told her to go to the hospital to get checked.

I called her cell to check up on her. I then got a hold of her and she told me Aaron didn't make it. His heart rate dropped into the 70s and they did a c/s. She was put under and didn't know what was going on. She woke up to find that her baby boy was gone. They don't know what he died from. He was 10 lbs 5 oz

I am so upset and still shaking. I am going to see her tomorrow.

If you could, keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. What a horrible time for them not to go home with their baby boy....

I am so sorry to hear of your friends loss. When I lost my angel I didn't know how to handle things. She was happy and healthy one minute and the next was gone. I still haven't come to terms with her passing and in fact blame myself alot. But my little boy was a miracle we found out about 5 days after her passing. I hope she finds comfort in the time to come.

I am so sorry about what happened to your friend. I lost my son, Lance, in October during labor which ended in an emergency c section. He was 39 weeks and 10lb. 3oz. Please mention this board to her and if she wants to, she can get in touch with me. Let her know my thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

Along with some other friends, I was able to visit her today. It was so hard to wrap my mind around. They are still in shock. It was really hard to be there, but I know that she appreciated having us all there.
The Dr. assured her that it was nothing that she did. She was a great diabetic the whole pregnancy. She also said that they will be able to try again. They have not done an autopsy yet, but believe that it may have had something to do with his esophagous and stomach not having a proper connection. He came out not breathing and they were not able to revive him. As her friend and a mom, it breaks my heart.

Thank you ladies. I will direct her to this board at some point. Any other suggestions as to what I can do?

I am so very sorry for the loss of precious Aaron.

When she is ready, please direct her my way.

If she ever needs someone to speak to, or if you do for that matter, please feel free to pm me as my loss was at full term also.

Again, I am so sorry for the tragic loss of this precious little boy.
