Question Question about first AF after m/c

I haven't been here in a couple weeks as I've been having trouble logging in. I was finally able to get on this morning. Anyway, I am happy to report that I got my first AF since the m/c on Mother's Day. I'm now on CD13 and I'm STILL bleeding. Is this normal? I did call the doctor and her nurse said that it's normal for your first few cycles to be really screwy. However, when is it too much? The flow isn't heavy, but it's enough to require a tampon. I'm just getting really frustrated and feeling like God and everyone else is saying , "No more kids!"

Hugs, I would call your OB back and speak with him/her and not the nurse. It can take a while to get your cycle back to normal. Hang in there!

I think the first cycle after the d&c was a bit long for me also... but yeah, I would call the nurse back and ask, "How long is too long?" Hugs Holly!

Just went through the same thing. I called my OB and they said as long as the bleeding stops within 8 weeks post D&C it is OK (as long as it is not heavy/passing clots/ect). I bled until CD 16 or so. HTH
