    Default Really early m/c

    Hi everyone,
I recently lost/am losing a very early pregnancy. I was actually bleeding already before I realized I was pregnant, but it stopped eventually when I started progesterone. Bloodwork showed decreasing HCG a few days ago, at which time I stopped the progesterone supplements I had taken for only 3 days.

My question is....how long does it take after stopping the progesterone before the bleeding should return? Is it possible that the m/c is complete already even though the HCG is still present? I temperature chart and my temp is still very high as though I'm still pregnant.

Will f/u with the doctor in the next few days. I'm sad I'm not pregnant, but am really anxious to get this over with and move on.

My condolences on your losses as well.

    Thank you.

I am sorry for your loss. When I had the same situation I was not of progesterone so I don't know the answer to your question. My best guess would be a couple of days.

    Hugs!

I am sorry for your loss. Every loss is different, is your doctor going to test your HcG again?

Thanks for the responses. Spotting/cramping has started....I guess it isn't done yet. I'll have HCG checked again tomorrow. Crossing my fingers it's not an ectopic as I'm at higher risk for this.

I am so sorry. I hope it's not ectopic either. Please keep us posted

New HCG is 25 (down from 126, then 101). I think/hope I am in the clear for an ectopic (whew!) since HCG is dropping nicely. I am hoping this is all happening naturally. Will have another HCG in a week.

The last two days have been tougher than I thought it would be, and I've been quite down. Doesn't help to hear all types of baby news on FB.

New question.....maybe best suited for a TTC board, but, when can I try again? I am planning on immediately. I was more laid back before, but since this all happened I feel desperate to have a baby asap. The nurse I have been corresponding with is hard to communicate with and when I asked her if I should be on progesterone to lengthen my LP (which is too short), she just said call us when you get your period and then schedule an appt to talk to the doctor. But nobody has actually said we can't TTC this month. Now I'm afraid to ask, because I have not intention of waiting, I just want the progesterone in case that is why I miscarried. The actual m/c started at only 5 weeks pregnant, but the pregnancy had problems from the beginning. I don't want to waste a month. I feel in a hurry due to age/endometriosis.

    Default prengancy ment.

Most doctors say to wait two to three cycles. I think it is something you should talk to your doctor about, epecially if there are issues. It is best to get a clear plan together for next time. I would also ask about clomid as that can increase your cycle. Good luck.
