Thread: Thinking ahead to 10/15 (loss ment)

Holy cow, where did summer go? I live in NY and the trees are starting to turn already.
September is here, next month will bring Pregnancy and Infant Loss day (October 15th).
I wanted to get input as to what we (as a board) would like to do to remember our little angels. Last year, we had a chat and a wave of light. It was nice, but I would love to dop something extra special this year. Any other suggestions?

Hmmm. No ideas yet, but I will think about it.

I was just brainstorming randomly.

-write something as a group to post on facebook, etc.
-plant a flower or other plant in memory
-write a letter to our lost one and share it here
-create a blinky for rememberance day

I like the idea of writing a note to our lost one.

I think MissyJ has a blinky from last year. A letter is a cool idea.
Maybe we can find a plant that grows in all areas and all plant one/get one as a bond.

Hi everyone, I'm the Moderator of the Trying to Conceive After a Loss board, and we will be joining you to come up with ideas for 10/15. I am just now putting up a thread about it, so hopefully we'll get some interested parties soon.

I like the Blinky idea, and also the plant idea.


And by the way, I should post over here more often. I was not really 'aware' of this board until now. Not sure why, but I've never been much of a "whole site navigator." Now that I'm a Moderator, though, I am familiarizing myself with every single board (though it will take some time to go through them all, lol).
