    Default Types of memorials?

What type of memorials have you done for your angels? Have you planted a tree? Made a donation in their name?

Our church bought a new piano and sold “keys” to help offset the cost.

For Taylin my Inlaws purchased a rose bush (the tree kind) and planted it over her... beautiful roses, white with pink tips. I also got a placemarker, a small one, that rests by her grave.

I haven't done anything just yet. My Secret Sister from the JLIH board sent me some daisies to plant in his/her honor, but I'm too scared to plant them. I really am not good with flowers. I may have my grandma come help me.

I don't know that it's classified as a "memorial" or not, but DH and I will be getting matching tattoos as well. We are doing stars with the girls' birthstone colors inside and a star with wings for our angel.

Yeah, they are, but they're worth it if they mean something Have you thought about what you might get?

well I want the flowers that are on the little box that the hospital gave us, along with her name and birthday below it... I got the tattoo Idea down, but placement is the bigger question for me I guess... where do you put a memorial tattoo, ya know?

For my second loss my dh's coworker's (all men, still amazes me!) sent a lovely greenery arrangement. I have it on my entertainment center and it has grown a ton in the last year. I love looking at it and thinking of my angel.

I bought a white orchid and buried the box with my LO's ashes in the bottom of the pot. And I made bracelets!

The hospital were I delivered Rebecca has a memorial wall in which each baby's name is put on a leaf that goes on a tree on the wall. It is beautiful. We have a picture of the wall hanging with a candle with her name and birth information on it. I also have a large rock in my garden "those that we have held in our arms for a little while we hold in our hearts forever" I do not have my daughters remains, she was too early to be cremated and I did not want to bury her in the yard...but I have a lot of items to remember her by.

Personally I have a necklace with a heart and a pearl in the center, pearl was her birth/death month.

We have all of the ultrasounds and pictures of her from the hospital in an album so I think we have a lot of memorials around us. I still miss her though.
