waiting to confirm my loss

Hi everyone, I have never posted here before. I was newly pregnant just 4 and a half weeks and began bleeding heavily. I feel silly because everyone seems to be much further which I reallize is a harder loss. I feel for all of you and I am so sorry. I am posting because I still feel so much pain because I have a healthy son who is 20 months and we had him on the first try it was easy. Because of this we felt it was fine to tell many people early on and now its so hard. We are still going through the blood test for HCG levels but I know it has happened.

First of all let me tell you that no loss is worse than another. It is entirely subjective and when someone looses a baby, it's more than just the tissues that made up that child. It's the hopesand dreams you had for their future and the plans you made and the love you felt. No one here considers their loss to be harder than another, so please dont feel bad because your is early.

I am so sorry that you are going through this, but please know that it may not be the end.

I am 18 weeks pregnant now and in the early days i had a bleed at about 4weeks. It was full of clots and just like a period. I was certain i had lost the baby. They took my HCG levels 48 hours apart and sure enough they were fine.

So dont give up just yet. Smile

If the worst has happened then we are here for you. This board is a wonderful place of support for many.
