Well, our lawsuit over Damien's stillbirth has been filed. It has also become very public knowledge. It was the lead story in the local news today and will most likely be in tomorrow's newspaper. It is in the online version of the Navy Times and will be in the printed version next week. There is no way that this can be "swept under the rug" as an unfortunate incident anymore. I just hope that when this is all over that neither woman is allowed to practice anymore. I am putting in a link to the Navy Times article.
Way to go, Shelly. I am so proud of you and your husband for standing up for Damien. And also, for taking a stand in order to protect any other family from falling victim. My heart goes out to you on the loss of your sweet boy. Stay strong, and keep fighting the good fight!!!
Wow, Shelly - I'm sure that it took alot of strength and courage to file the lawsuit. Good for you! It really sounds like that doctor has no business practicing medicine. I hope that all of this will come to a quick resolution. I'll be thinking of you.

I'm proud of you. It's important for someone to fight to put a stop to this. I can't imagine how difficult it is for you to have to focus this. When my sister died, my dad filed a lawsuit and I couldn't even listen to the updates on it. So, you have to be strong and lean on us for support!
Shelly good for you! I am so glad you & your family are standing up for yourselves. I really hope this a very quick process and that they dont drag this out. I still cant believe they are still practicing. Thats just scary and I dont want to think about it. I know your little angel Damien is looking down from above that his mom and dad are fighting for others who may not have the courage to speak up so that this never happens again to any military/civilian family while under their care. I still cant believe they are still practicing and I hope they never do again. I hope you win big!
Wow! Good for you. I'm glad someone is stepping up to the plate to prevent these people from continuing their negligent behaviour when it comes to the care of their patients. Please kup. I can't imagine how hard all of this is on your family. I will continue to keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
