Well ... the test came up positive this morning. I had sort of expected it to, but want to have a positive take home test before I went to a doctor or anything. I have to call the doctor today and set up a blood test. I'm so nervous- my husband is in the Army, we're living in Germany, and I have no clue what to do. We're new to military life, and I've been on base all of one month, so I'm completely lost in all aspects of what is happening. I am really hoping that my husband can go with me for the blood test, but I'm kind of doubting that they will let him off work to go to the doctor with me. We'll see. It is definitely going to be a LONG weekend, because I probably won't get to go today.
I'm so nervous that I'm going to mess up. That I'm going to eat or drink something that I wasn't supposed to. Is there a certain way a pregnant person is supposed to sleep? Are there only certain positions that the hubby and I can have sex? What about exercise? I don't normally exercise, should I start? I don't normally eat healthy- I KNOW I need to fix that, but how? What's "healthy"? AHH!! I'm going to go crazy. I don't even know how far along I am... probably only like 2 weeks or something. I'm only one day late on my period. We'll see what the blood test says and go from there I guess.
And it's official, I'm pregnant. I would like to tell my parents, but can't really afford to call them from Germany. I guess an e-mail will have to do. Oh geez... I'd like to be able to tell them in person, but I guess there's no such luck.
