BD'ing #2 no false alarm

April 18th appointment gone very well. I have the usual routine check up before seeing the doctor. You know the urine sample, checking weight and blood pressure. I gain a total of 8 lbs from all my appointments. (Starting from 182 and 3rd appointment shown I'm 190lbs). All test results from the blood testing and blood pressure been good. No need to be concerned. Everything appearing quite fine.

Checking the baby's heartbeat and movement from Doppler sound beautiful. Epi, my doctor and I all hear a very beautiful, active, healthy baby.

Been awhile since updated here. My 4th appointment is set for May 23, 2007. My doctor normally sees me 4 weeks, but 4th week she is out of office and this date is when she'll be back to do my Ultrasound. Seems like a long ways to wait being I'm very excited to see how exactly my baby doing again. Also to find the baby's gender.

Then from there Epi and I can go to Wal*Mart as soon as we can afterward in registering for the baby. Also, I'm helping my mom know what date Epi and I are fine to plan for the Baby Shower. I'm hoping if okay with my mom will be August 25, 2007. Baby is expected around September 25, 2007. (Unless notify differently by the next u/s I'll have).

I've been really happy about seeing baby thumping away a couple to few times outside the belly. This I noticed about 12:20AM last night. I also feel kind of sad that the baby is still very shy around my DH. :dontknow: :comfort:

I do hope you find in Pregnant After a Loss (forum) about my topic. Hopefully, I can hear from some of you there. If there is anything you can respond to be about. I will appreciate that. :)

I posted earlier about DH haven't been able to feel baby. When DH did get to feel the baby wasn't too much later after I've posted my entry. The day DH was able to feel the baby, the baby still was kind of light thumping kick outside from what DH said. But happy DH got to feel the baby. :)

Still expected around September 23rd - 25th of this year. Doctor saw me after the u/s for my check up as well. I am doing really good, too. Blood pressure is fine. Gained a total of 12 lbs. (Now at 194 lbs). None too bad and feling very happy. In 4 weeks I'll see my doctor again.

This I had wanted to first share my post in September 2007 Birth Board. I wanted to also mention in here as well that DH's and my baby girl's nose appears like she'll be taking after her daddy. Aw. Some reason my doctor was curious about that. Which I think is different but very cool thought. Daddy's baby girl! :)

Kind of amazing how baby Louisa moving quite a lot in punching/ kick thumping starting on April 30th; Lasting up until my 4th appointment on May 23rd. Then after that Louisa settled down a little bit. Kind of hard not to worry. But being reassured from what the doctor last said last appointment, my baby girl will do that sometimes moving very little. My doctor said that it is very normal; By next appointment in 4 weeks as my doctor mentioned as well, I will be reporting my baby girl's punches/ kicks be stronger. Getting to hear baby's heartbeat on Doppler and seeing my baby girl on U/S is wonderful; But getting to feel my baby girl's movement is more amazing. :)

Since Memorial Day into Thursday I got to feeling sick having stomach pains/gas. Felt hopeless of eating anything, but maybe all was due to eating a little too much. Definitely over the last week I was getting a little use to eating so well, that I didn't think much maybe I'll get sick from it. So I supposed that all throughout the pregnancy is still very recommended to eat 5 to 6 smaller meals.

Thursday night I did eat 2 Hot Dogs and felt fine. As well Friday afternoon I had a bowl of Cereal like at maybe 3PM. Then a bowl of mashed potatoes with one slice American cheese and little Louisiana sauce for flavor. As well heated up 2 hard-boiled eggs. I had this around 5:30PM. Did fine eating all this.

But by 8PM tried having another bowl of Cereal, but a little afterwards kind of felt the stomach cramping/ gas. Although really hasn't been so bad as describing over this past week when I had it.

When Epi came home last night I done well when I ate the Friday's Potato Skins chips. Also had soft tacos too that Epi and I shared off of. Was really good. No problem there.

Supposed it has been things maybe Louisa didn't like which triggered my stomach cramp/ gas. Similar this has happened to one of Epi's sisters when she was pregnant with one of her daughters. There were certain foods she couldn't eat. So I supposed I will take the advice and be careful of the things I eat. :)

Monday I'll call my doctor up to see if my previous pregnancy/hospital records got to her when I carried and had Angél delivered. Most she is concerned about is how my incision been cut from C-Section. Being that I like to try in having Louisa be delivered naturally. My incision on the outside is bikini cut, and more than likely is in the inside, too. But still my doctor will like to be sure. Also I'll talk to my doctor how I've felt this past week why maybe I did get the stomach cramps/gas pains. Still I like the reassurance from my doctor as well that this can be normal when pregnant.

My Doctor did get back to me and start on taking Colace. Been helping a little but probably need to give more time. I'll call next Wednesday to see about if all my prenatal/delivery records from previous hospital got to my doctor. Also have her know how the medicine is helping.

I'm feeling a lot better though.

DH and I started back to the gym downtown yesterday. I've done swimming and walking around the track in the inside. Was very easy on me and relaxing. Liking to do the same because we're going again today. Also hopefully add another workout. This is a machine where I saw you sit down and your legs are in a bicycle movement. Also appears very relaxing, too. :)

As you can see I'm in the double digits now. Both DH and I are very excited. So is Louisa punching and kicking away. She's happy mom is feeling calm, relaxed and happy.

98 days left where DH and I will get to hold Louisa in our arms. I'm sure and believe she will be a very healthy/beautiful baby. :)

Friday, June 22, 2007:
Nurse called me back around 11:30AM leaving a message to call back to her about my glucose/anemic test coming back. I called and nurse took awhile to call back about my results. Feeling pretty nervous and the feeling that I knew about needing to do the 3-HR for sure. Yeah normal level is before 130. My level shown 140 and also the anemic test shown I'm anemic. Nurse gave me OTC iron supplement and mentioned my Lab appointment most likely be on Tuesday at 8AM.

Thursday, June 21, 2007:
1st half of routine check-up done giving urine sample, check blood pressure (which was 1st time was a little high) and gained total of 15lbs at 197lbs. I was right on the dot for that being I check my weight each time I work out with Epi either Tuesday or Wednesday. (My work outs is swimming, walking/ machine I sit on and legs move in a bicycle movement).

Seeing the doctor, checking baby Louisa's heartbeat was sounding very beautiful. Measuring where I supposed to be. Check up gone very well. Then, my doctor had the nurse check my BP again the 2nd time which shown a little high again. (I supposed the nervousness about having to get the 1-HR glucose done would elevate my BP. Also minutes before DH took me to see my doctor we had a minor fender bender). My doctor even had me drink the stuff before taking the 1-HR glucose test. Also had me lay on my left side in a room to see my BP will behave.

1 hour approached and nurse checked my BP for the 3rd time and blood pressure shown it behaved. I was really happy. DH and checked out of the doctor's office for next appointment. That will be in 3 weeks on July 11th. Because doctor will be on vacation about the whole 4th of July week. Which is fine being doctor seen I'm doing very good. Before leaving the hospital, DH and I gone to the Lab to hand my paperwork to show I to do 1-HR glucose/anemic test. Didn't take too long for that. DH and I left between 2-5min out of the Lab for home.
