The Caboose's Caboose
Good Evening my fellow Po'ers...Lizzy finds herself once again in need of a pregnancy journal.
Have I  any of you yet?
For those who do not know me, I am Lizzy, sahm to three kiddies, Hunter~8/27/99, Abby~6/27/03, Emma~4/05/06...and this wee bean in my belly, edd~10/04/07.
This baby is a complete and utter shock to my husband and myself. I was on the pill and thought all was covered...alas I was on antibiotics off and on in January and February...I had AF, no symptoms until April.
In fact when I went for my first u/s I thought I was only 10 weeks along. The technician informed me that this was going to be a short pg...she then said I was 18 weeks!!!! :jawdrop:
After we got over the shock, we are pleased. I am happy that I will be a Mama to four gems.

*~*22 weeks + 5 days*~*
I am still :puke: about three times a day, this is why I am not gaining weight. I am eating healthy though and trying to maintain a healthy life style.
I have my second u/s on Friday and dh wants me to find out the sex. He will not be able to go as he has to take care of Abby and Emma. My mom is going with Hunter's class on a field trip to London the same day.
Today was so very cold, I will be glad once the warmth returns. :sunny:

I went to the library before I returned home and scanned this...it is against hospital policy for the tech to tell the gender....however.....she showed me the leg area and there was something quite prominent......
Team blue!!!! It's a boy!

I *think* we have chosen a name....
Riley William John....(William and John after my older brothers) :D
-
I guess the more children one has, the less time they have to journal.... :D
Tomorrow afternoon I see Dr. Ghazarian for the first time! I am very pleased to see my favourite OB/GYN so early on in a pg...well, I am 27 weeks, but here in Ontario most pg ladies have to see their family doctor until 32 weeks.
My family doctor listened to me in April and he said it was no problem referring me early.
-
I had a good appt with Dr. Ghazarian on Friday, didn't have to wait too long....Jan and Judy laughed at me when they realized why I was there once again! :biglaugh:
The heart beat was strong and steady, I have lost 7lbs, but other than that things are fine, still edd of October 4th.
I had the gestational and a CBC done afterwards, hopefully all is well.
-
I failed the gestational. Bah.
-
I finally did the two hour gestational yesterday and I have been so freaking ill ever since!
I had to have blood taken three times, six vials total!
By the time the fast was complete, it had been 20 hours since I had last eaten. I just can't keep anything solid down now....I have m/s frequently but this is worse.
My mom looked after the children and myself yesterday afternoon at her house, she rocks!
I had my 30 week appt on Thursday, I have lost 14 pounds total now! Dr. Ghazarian is concerned about it, but he thinks it is because of the m/s, I am now on Dialectin, let's hope it works.

I have not heard anything regarding gestational, tomorrow is a holiday so hopefully I will find out Tuesday. I am still not 100%, I can't eat much without :puke: however, I have improved since last weekend....here is the latest.
My mil called me in tears this afternoon, my dog had detoriated to the point she could no longer walk, eat, or drink since Saturday morning. I had to quickly get the hooligans bathed, myself showered, drop them off at my mom's house and travel out to the inlaws farm. Dh, fil, and bil are away camping until tomorrow night so we had no male support at all. When I arrived she actually rose to her feet, something that surprised mil greatly...she was so happy to see me. :sad11: I stayed for over an hour and we discussed what we should do. Her breathing was laboured, her kidneys were shutting down, it was awful. We had to put her down tonight....I've never in my life had to do be present before this. I am 35yo, pg with my fourth child, and I was bawling like a baby. My mil was quite upset too....it sucked royally. Unfortunately, when the boys arrive home tomorrow, I will see them first and I will have to break the news.
In loving memory of my puppy girl, Shania....April 1994-August 5th 2007...
