Get Ready - Here Comes #2!
Today officially begins my pregnancy journey. I just got a BFP this morning.
Yesterday my temperature dropped below coverline, and I started spotting, so I thought for sure AF was on her way. Then the strangest thing happened. Last night the spotting completely stopped, which never happens. Then I woke up today and my temp was back up above the coverline again. I assumed I wasn't pregnant still, but I couldn't resist the urge to POAS. I didn't want to waste a good test on a likely negative, so I just used the 1 IC I had. I dipped the stick, set it down, then sat at my computer for 10 mins. When I went back to check it I saw the faintest line! I really was not sure if it was a real line or an evap. I sat back down at my computer, hopeful for the first time, but trying not to get my hopes up too much. Then I had to pee again. At this point I hadn't had anything to drink yet, so I figured my urine would be just as good. So I PIAC and took a $Tree test. As I was looking at it I thought I saw a line, so I just said screw it and broke out a FRER and dipped it in the same urine. That one gave me a nice pink line. I was beside myself at this point, so I decided to try a digital, even though I'm only 10 DPO. That one was positive too! Nothing is more beautiful than seeing that word "Pregnant". So, after four HPT's, I've decided that yes, I am pregnant!
I decided to tell Bob by showing him the digital test. He's so clueless. Now, to be fair, he is sick and was sleeping, so I woke him up to show it to him. He was like, "What, I can hardly see it, what am I looking at?" I said, "Read what it says." He says, "What, are you saying you're pregnant?" Oh well, what did I expect. I think he's just happy that I won't be obsessing over TTC anymore.
I don't really feel too pregnant yet, but I am only 10 DPO. No "real" nausea I'd say. I couldn't finish my lunch, but I think it just had too much mayo. I was really tired, slept 8 hours and took a 2 hour nap, but I think I'm still getting over Black Friday exhaustion. My boobs are sore, but no more so than with PMS.
We told his parents, my parents, my sister, and one friend so far. Everyone knows we've been TTC, so everyone's excited. I'll go Monday for my blood test. Hopefully they'll be able to get me in with the nurse to go over the diabetes stuff fairly quickly - that's my biggest concern.
