10 weeks, 3 days
So we're here in AZ, and Tim had to fly out to go talk to the job people about some stuff. I'm staying at the Hampton with Nicky! :) It's cool because the TV has a closed-captioning option so that when I hit "Mute" when he's sleeping, I can still read subtitles and watch the show that way. This is like Disney Land for me because we don't have TV at home (except to watch DVDs)! :lol: A lot of the shows out there are really mindless and callous, I see. I like to stick to Discovery or other animal shows. :D
The pregnancy is still going really well! I have this fear that something is going to go wrong right at the end of the crucial time (upto 11 weeks, which is when most miscarriages happen). I am at 10 weeks and 3 days today, so I'm almost there. I am feeling unnaturally good, which of course just makes me worry even more.
My uterus has definitely moved up! I can now palpate it right on that line along my hipbones. It's crazy how much faster I'm growing now that this is my second pregnancy, and so close to my first. It's really neat to watch all the changes. :D My tastes are totally screwy; a lot of things taste weird to me. The other night we got pancakes and syrup at this restaurant and the syrup tasted like bad BO to me!! :puke: And I almost threw up when Tim brought me this cup of apple juice from the lobby - apparently a drop or two of coffee fell in the cup and he just poured the apple juice on top of that. I swear, it tasted like half the cup was coffee and the other half apple juice! It was just so weird. I have been drinking orange juice like it's going out of style, though. :D YUM!!
Our trip is SO much fun! We are really having a blast, driving for about 7 hours a day. Nick sleeps the whole time which is so nice. :D He starts getting fussy around his bedtime, which is to be expected. We just put him down in his car seat once we get to the hotel, and he goes right down. Oh, and he's eating 8 oz at a time now! :shock: He is such a big boy. :D
