Hello Sweet Baby!
I sure hope that you are well today.
We are good here. Today, we spent the morning at Preschool. Both of your sibs love it there, and I am so glad that we can afford to send them. Jacob is doing great in the Pre-K 4 class. He was busy tracing letters today! Now that he's with the 4 yr olds....he doesn't seem like a 3 year old to me. He's got a great attention span, compared to the 3s, but then again, he always has.
Miss L and I spent the early afternoon at home, and then a quick trip to the grocery store.
Dad was home earlyish tonight...well 6 pm...but, in time for all of us to eat dinner together! Hooray for family dinners.
I am feeling good today...just getting a bit bigger around the middle....ha ha...
I love you!

Hello sweet One!
I sure hope that you are well today.
Today was a pretty good day. Your sister and I went to Post to meet dad for lunch. I was also able to register the van, so that I can drive on Post more easily.
I had cleaning ladies here today, too! It was wonderful to come home to a completely clean house...wooo hooo...
One of the ladies is going in to have lap surgery to correct some effects, that she says, were caused my her tubal ligation a few years ago. These include ovarian cysts and heavy cramping/bleeding etc. This really got me wondering about me...as I plan to have a tubal after you are born. Lord knows I've been through enough!!!
I've done a bit of searching on the net...and some of what I've read sounds horrible. I also sent an e-mail to the Great Dr. Preen, who delivered both of your sibs, to see what she has to say. I asked her whether or not I should at least talk with my current OB/GYN. I plan to do this regardless. What I've read on the net has to do with "ovarian isolation", "hormonal imbalance", and something call "post tubal ligation syndrome." I also read that these are things that medical professionals don't like to talk about...just great!
I hate to use the net as a resource...but, I guess it has given me enough info to ask professionals. Sheesh...this is the last thing I need in the eleventh hour!!! I also wonder, whether my unicornuate uterus and non-communicating left tube will make the procedure more difficult and/or cause any unusual effects. Sheesh...ok...I will keep searching for info...and post more here as I become enlightened.
Tomorrow, we have your brother's Fall Festival at the Preschool. Should be a lot of fun!
I am off to rest...and hopefully fall asleep ok tonight...
I love you!

Hello Sweet Baby,
I sure hope that you are well today.
We are ok here in Atl. We enjoyed a gorgeous weather day today....mid 70's a slight breeze, and very little humidity. I wish I could wrap my arms around it...sigh.
We went to the Preschool's Fall Festival this morning. We got there before everything was ready, but, the kiddos still had fun. Jacob got to go in the Spider Man Moonbounce, do a few crafts, and listen to the local librarian tell stories. All in all, an ok way to spend part of the day.
This afternoon, we all went to the Barber shop where, everyone but me got hair cuts/trims.
We went out to dinner tonight...to a new restaurant in town. It ended up being ok...the appetizer and soup were great...our meals so/so.
I got a reply today from Dr. Preen re: negative effects from having a tubal ligation. She said that some women do experience side effects like more painful and heavier bleeding. She also said that, women report recovery from a c-section and a tubal...is more painful that from just a c-section. Finally, she said that for some reason more women have hysterectomy later on if they have had a tubal. She did say that IUD is an option for some women...but not me with my UU. All of this does not bode well in my brain...sheesh. I know that it may be a 50/50 gamble...but, still...
I plan to discuss all of this further with my OB at the next appt. I wish that there were other permanent options...besides tubal and vasectomies... (which your dad is not thrilled about...what man would be...LOL).
Ok...sweet baby...off to rest a bit...
I love you!

Hello Sweet Baby!
I sure hope that you are well today.
We are good here...I am just a bit tired right now. We stayed around the house today (save for a quick trip to the park) and got quite a bit done. I even found a darling Baby Book for you, that I had bought wayyyy before I got married. I am so glad that I found this...it's precious...and now that is another thing that we have waiting for you!
We spent some time this afternoon, decorating our pumpkin. The kids had fun watching us clean out the pumpkin, and then they really enjoyed hammering in the Lite Brite-type pegs. Jacob chose to use the Cat face pattern. It turned out very nice.
I spoke with your Aunt Meg today. She told me about another permanent form of birth control...called Essure. Apparently, coils are placed in your fallopian tubes, and then scar tissue forms around it...blocking conception. I checked the official website, and apparently it was approved by the FDA in 2002. I sent a quick note to the Great Dr. Preen, who promptly replied that, this is not something that would be done in a woman with UU.
Sooo...I am going to talk with my OB in Nov about the tubal...and then just do a lot of praying that I don't have any negative effects from it. At least this is the way we are leaning right now. And, I guess that the recovery from it, on top of the c-section, can't be any worse than my recovery from the Seroma (c-section opening) I had with Jacob, and the last run of bad luck (during cerclage placement) with my bladder being perforated. Sheesh, I've been through the ringer with all of this. But, you and your sibs are so worth it!!!
Ok...I am off to rest my mind and body...well, to at least try to!
I love you!

Hello Sweet BAby!
I sure hope that you are well today.
We are good here in Atl. It was a gloomy, rainy, humid day though...made me want to stay underneath the covers. But, it did remind me of H'berg...so, up and atom we all were.
I hung out at the preschool with your sibs this morning. Jacob got to trace his whole name...and did pretty well. It's soooo cool seeing him do actual school work and love it! He proudly turned in his homework folder this morning, and immediately asked his teacher for more...that's our Jacob.
This afternoon, Miss L and I took it easy and then went to the grocery store.
I think that, tomorrow, your sibs and I will go to storytime at the library.
Oh, we have a maternity portrait shoot scheduled for next weekend at a nearby park. I love taking and having the maternity shots...a beautiful memory. It should be fun with both kiddos!
Ok...off to rest for now...
I love you!

Hello Sweet Baby!
I sure hope that you are well today.
We are good here...save for getting over slight colds/coughs.
This morning, your sibs and I went to Story Time at the Library...we had fun. The librarian does a great job holding interest, and they always have a craft to make and take. All free, which is a plus!
This afternoon, Mariah came over to meet the kids, and get to know where things are around the house. We hope to have her come babysit on occassion. She is the 16 year old daughter of a friend. Definetely not Giedre or Oma Sherie...but, the kids enjoyed her company. Jacob even asked if she was going to stay and babysit, when Mariah was getting ready to leave. Made me want to hop in the van and go for a ride....LOL.
Well, it looks like your Grandma Elaine is going to come and help out when you are born! This is such a huuuuuuggggeeee relief for us. We are hoping that she'll make it here in time for your birth. So, little one, it would be greatly appreciated if, you would wait until after 20 Dec (I should be 36 weeks by then) to arrive. Do you think that you can do this for mommy!!???!!!
Well....I am off to shower and to rest...
I love you!

Hello Sweet Baby!
I sure hope that you are well today. Happy 27 Weeks!!!
We are ok here....save for getting over colds/coughs...tis' the season, I suppose.
This morning, your brother went on his first field trip...to a Pumpkin Patch. He had fun enjoying a hayride, petting animals, stuffing a scarecrow, searching for rocks/minerals, visiting an Indian teepee, and picking out a pumpkin.
Your sister and I went shopping, and finally found the perfect outfit to bring you home from the hospital in:
Thanks grandma Elaine and Grandpa Ron....we love it!!!
This afternoon, I made pumpkin cheesecake squares for tomorrow's playgroup Halloween Party. I don't really like to bake...but, I think they turned out pretty darn good. I hope that we all feel well enough to go. Your sibs are looking forward to debuting their Halloween costumes!
Ok...off to shower and rest up....
I love you!

Hello Sweet Baby!
I sure hope that you are well today. You were very active today inside of me...almost non-stop movement...are you getting uncomfy?
We are doing ok here. I took your sibs to the Dr. this morning...just tired of the coughing and runny noses. Turns out, they both had ear infections...so, on to antibiodics for 10 days. After this, the Dr. is recommending that I give them each a bit of Claritin each morning for potential allergy causes of clear runny nose. We shall see.
Your dad also stayed home today...so, we all had a sick day...lol.
I decided not to go to the Playgroup Halloween party. for two reasons...I didn't want to spread the oogie boogies...and because I dont' really get the warm and fuzzy with this group of women. So...we all enjoyed some of the yummy pumpkin cheesecake dessert that I made to take with us. I will freeze the rest for T-day and for when Grandma E is here with us....it tastes very similar to pumpkin pie...
Ok...I am off to shower and rest...
I love you!

Hello Sweet Baby!
I sure hope that you are well today.
We are doing ok here in Atl. I think that we are all finally starting to feel a bit better.
Today was a pretty slow and easy day. Jacob went to school, and Miss L and I ran errands and did laundry.
I made some very yummy Greek Goulash for dinner. This is a dish that I kind of made up while we were living in H'berg...and I managed to find the ingredients to make it here. It turned out pretty darn good. I was going to make the Greek marinade for the meat from scratch, but then found Greek Seasoning by McCormick in the store. I could go on and on about how great this dish is....especially if you like Greek food.
Tomorrow, we will go and look at some furniture for your sister, that we found on listed Craig's List. I am soooo glad that we've finally found something to go and look at. I really want to transition her to her room, so that the nursery can be readied for you!!!
Tomorrow afternoon, we will all go to Sweetwater Creek Park, and have maternity pics taken (well, family pics with maternity me....lol). I am excited about this...and hope that you find them a special memory some day.
I love you, sweet girl!
Mom
PS. We're working really hard on finalizing your name...it's just taking a bit more time than it did with Jacob and Lauren. Hang in there...your beautiful name is coming up!

Hello Sweet Baby!
I sure hope that you are well today.
We are good here in Atl. We had a super, duper busy day today...and only just now are home with your sibs in bed.
We went to look at and buy some furniture for your sister. I am sooo happy to report that, we now have a bed, dresser, nightstand, and wooden toybox (window seat) for her room. We spent way too much time at this family's home...they had a dog, and had to race back to get changed in time for our maternity shoot.
The maternity shoot was by far the most pleasurable one that we did. The park was nice--with beautiful fall foliage--the kids were terrific, and the photographer, Danielle, was kind and patient. It was so wonderful taking these pics with dad and your sibs. I am certain that, over 200 pictures were taken!!!
You were just a thumping away inside of me while we were there...as if you wanted to jump out and be with us in the pics! It was a tad bit melancholy for me as well, as this will be the last maternity shoot that I get to take. Despite all the challenges that my pregnancies have presented me with, I still soooo enjoy being pregnant. I must be a crazy lady...no, just a woman who loves carry beautiful bundles of joy, and bringing them into this world.
On that note...I will post pics from today's shoot here just as soon as I can.
I love you!
