Default Our Journal to baby!!!! What a ride!!!

I am 16weeks 2days preggers and am so excited. I have started so many journals but they are all in different places. I have to remember to go back and print them off, before they disappear forever.

My TTC journal is on Fertility Friend and my early pregnancy journal is on the What the Expect web site.

My next Dr appointment is next Tuesday. Only a week more to go until I hear my little baby's heart beat again. It was such a beautiful sound last month. I am assuming we will schedule my ultrasound on Tuesday within the next 3 or 4 weeks. We will be finding out if we are having a boy or a girl. We just started taking names last weekend.

I have been doing all sorts of research on baby products. I have seen a few cribs I liked, and can't wait to go register. I am going to borrow Jenny's Bassenet, and Karey already gave me her breast pump. Still their are so many things we need and I want for our baby.

I can't wait to feel the baby move. I think I am starting to show, but I wear fitted cloths and that makes it hard to hide any bump.

Default Our 4th month prenata visit.

I felt the baby move for the first time on Monday night. (17weeks 1day) I had both hands on my stomach and felt a light Thump....Thump.... I felt it from the inside and out. I was very excited to feel it and it was reassuring going into Dr appointment the next day.

My Dr. appointment was on Tuesday. (17weeks 2 days) It was nice because it was so close to work, 5 minutes. However it took two hours. The office was running behind and the Dr. I was supposed to see was called to the emergency room to deliver twins. I saw Dr. Fociear this time, and he took his time with me even though the office was hectic.

I got to hear the baby's heartbeat real quickly and I tryed to record a little of the sound. The nurse with the doppler was rushed. The Dr. said it sounded about 140BPM.

As I write this I am 17weeks 5 days, and we have our ultrasound scheduled for Tuesday January 31st. We will be 19 weeks 2 days at the time of our ultrasound. It's only a little over one week away. I am so excited to find out if we are having a boy or a girl. I hope the baby's legs are not crossed. I really don't care if it's a boy or girl, I just want to start buying/registering for stuff.

I have felt good most of my pregnancy. Though yesterday I felt a headcold or a sinus infection coming on. My head is a little stuffed up and my nose is bleeding a little bit once in a while. Nose bleeds are quite common in pregnancy I have read. I am just starting to show. I always feel like I am not showing when I wake up in the morning and then by the end of the day, I feel huge.

Well I'm off to work for the day.

    Default The Big U/S Day

We have our ultrasound at 9:30 am today. I am so excited and nervous. We are 19weeks 4days, and we should be able to tell if we have a boy or girl. That's if our baby's legs are not crossed. I am going eat a candybar on the ride to the Dr appt, to make sure the baby is up and moving around. I have to drink 24oz of water.

I can't wait. I didn't sleep well last night and I have been up since 6:00 am
I think we are having a boy. Only because I am very familiar with girls and having a boy will be more challanging for me. Challanging but equally rewarding. I will be pleasently surprised if we are having a girl. Either way I am just glad we are finnally starting our family, and I pray we have a healthy baby, Boy or Girl.

This week has been uneventful. It was kind of a lazy weekend last weekend, because it was rainy and dreary outside. We were supposed to go and see Mike, Jen and the girls, but that was canceled. Kaylie is almost a month old now. I am so glad our children will be close in age. We do fun family things with them and it will be nice to be raising our families togeather.

This weekend we are going to celebrate Amanda's birthday on Superbowl Sunday at Jenny and Steve's. I would like to start to register on Saturday, but I don't know what Roy has planned yet

Well, we had our ultrasound yesterday. I am happily shocked and awed, we are having a girl. I was so prepaed to have a boy. Now I have to find girl bedding. The stuff I had already picked was kind of boyish. I had nerrowed down to 3 boy's names and still have a list of about 20 girls names I like. I guess I though I would get a boy, because it would be more challanging for me. I left the Dr office thinking....... Wow, I know what to do with a girl. For me, I can't imagine going the whole pregnancy thinking the baby was one thing and then being tottally shocked at the birth.

Our little baby girl was jumping around in there, probabbly because the snickers bar I eat before the u/s. She is measuring a little ahead at 20w0d when we were 19w4d.

The u/s tech said to take it easy and not to lift anything over 15 pounds. The umbillical cord is not centered in the placenta, so I will be going back for another u/s closer to the delivery date. I am going to try not to worry about it too much. She said not lifting and no vacumming.

I am so excited, our little baby girl is on her way and I can't wait to hold her.

We are 24 weeks 5 days or 6th months. I have been feeling our little one consistantly everyday for the past few weeks. When she is quiet she scares me a little. It makes me feel so much better when I feel her moveing around. Today was the first time I acctually saw my tummy move. She must have pushed up around my belly button, because I saw my stomach move out.

We are completely registered except for a few last items. And we have been shopping around the last couple weeks for furniture to go in the nursery. The crib we registered for is white and Roy's mom said she was going to get that.

My feet have also been swollen for the past couple weeks. I have a Dr. appointment next week and another ultrasound, so I will have to mention to them about my feet. I will also be having the 1hr diebetes test next week.

Mom and Nicole have started to plan the shower and Nicole will be coming in for the weekend of May 6th. Mom & Nicole's shower will be on the 6th and Roys side will be on the 7th. Mom and Nicole's theme is pink and blue ducks.

I have been catching up at work and will have to work on my perposal to work three days a week for a while this weekend.

    I'm off to bed.

33 week and doing well. Our last u/s is tomorrow to see if she has turned. She was breach at 28 weeks. My ankel's are pretty swollen and I get tired towards the end of the day. She has been moving every couple hours and is kind of qiuet at night. She does these slow rolls and my belly gets hard, like her back is pushing out to one side or another. Her furniture has not come, so we had to reorder through a different store. It should be here by the end of this month.

Our birth classes are next weekend and I will be releaved to know those are done before we go ito labor.

    Default 34WEEKS 2DAYS

I had my last u/s last week. She was measuring 36 weeks, and they estimated her at 5lbs 13oz, in the 84th percentile. Roy put her crib together last Friday and it lloks very nice in her room. I have started washing her towels and bed linens, but am waiting on the dressers to start on her towels and cloths.

I am excited about our birth classes next weekend and will be releaved to visit the labor and delivery area of the hospital.

She is moving a little less as she runs out of room in there and they said she was head down. Our baby girl sticks her foot out and I can feel a bump on my right side.

Her basenette is all ready to go and wehave started training the cats to stay out of her room. I can't beleive we only have 4 to 6 weeks left before we get to see our little one.

I did not sleep well last night, I have started to feel the weight of the baby and have started to feel really heavy myself. I have to make myself take naps. Yesterday was Mother's Day and Roy was so woderful. He got me some flowers, a book to read to the baby "Just Like Mommy" and a really sweet card.

We are so blessed to be sharing this experiance and I thank God he has been so good to us.
