36 weeks and 3 days

I switched to Heparin yesterday. For some reason I thought I could have an epidural before 12 hours post dose, but I have confirmed that I cannot have an epidural until 12 hours post dose. AND I take two injections per day...every 12 hours

I want an epidural and have no desire to birth naturally (sorry Bobbie and Shelly)

So my only hope of having meds is to go into labor before the second 12 hour daily dose or induce. I know once the stich is out on Monday he will not induce that week. I am hoping he will if I don't go into labor at 38 weeks. My OB is not excited about the blood thinners anyway and wants me to have the option of an epidural in case of a c-section. Athough, there are ways to have a c-section and still be on blood thinners. It's confusing. I go and see the doc tommorrow to check the cerclage one last time and figure out if we are going to take it out in the hospital or in his office.

The cerclage comes out Monday at 5:00 pm at the hospital

DH and I get to DTD too! It's been 6 months. We are so excited.. LOL

Anyone want to take bets on how long it will be before I go into labor after the cercalge is removed? I am thinking 3 days.

Katie ~ acoacheswife update 8:45pm Central Time

Just got a phone call, her cerclage is out. Took them 45 min, but its out!

She was 1 cm as soon as they took it out and soon become 3cm. Already feeling contractions. They will check her again and if she makes progress they will keep her tonight and baby should be here within 24 hours!

WOOHOOOO!!!!!

I didn't get a chance at work this morning.

She sent text message this morning. Contractions stopped, no progress on dilation, she was sent home. I think that was about 745 her time this morning.

Kati went to doctor today.

She's a 4 now and on her way to hospital. Doc says if they stop now... He's giving her stuff to keep it going!!

I'm so excited!!
