Default Anyone make their own fresh pasta?

DH and I buy fresh pasta (Buitoni) because it tastes better when cooked. However, it's pretty pricey stuff. I was curious how difficult it is to make your own pasta.

I pass by the Kitchen Aid standing mixer of my dreams in the store all the time, and I noticed they have pasta attachments.

Anyone done this? If so, what types of pasta have you made?

I make homemade noodles with chicken and mashed potatos. i love to make it and it is very easy. I do the rolling and cutting though my self. I dont measure anything, I just pour flour in the bowl and then use egg yolks. and mix it til it is a nice dough. dont put salt in your dough, it makes the noodles bouncy and rubbery. Roll it out flat and roll it up like you do cinnamon rolls and cut them in strips. Boil. It is sooo good and the best way to make noodles....
