I'm going to a Mother's Day luncheon on Sunday, and I've been instructed to bring a pasta salad. I only know how to make two different pasta salads. Last time I made my fake crab salad for this finicky bunch, only my MIL was willing to try it (and she liked it). The other salad included a type of salad dressing that has apparently been discontinued, as all the stores are out. This is a tragedy, and I am sad.

Any ideas?
