Hi you guys! I'm hoping I could get some tips on how to make a really good frosting for sugar cookies, it seems like everytime I make frosting it's either too thick, too runny or just doesn't taste good!
We'll be making our fall/halloween cookies tomorrow as a family and I'd really like to experiement w/ frosting so I can make something worth using tomorrow.
I used to room with a girl in college who made wedding cakes for extra money. This is gross, but she made frosting from lard (crisco), confectioners sugar and clear vanilla extract. I don't know the exact recipe of how much of each ingrediant she put into the mixture, but that was all that was in it. It was good.
