Thread: Wedding Cake & Price?? (with pic)

I decided to post this here, too, as I'm looking for LOTS of feedback!

I'm helping out with a wedding, and we were looking at doing a cake similar to this one.
It will not look exactly as the inspiration cake, but the design is very similar and it will also have
fondant, buttercream icing and either piped or handmade flowers or BOTH. It serves approx. 140.

How much would you expect to pay for this cake?

$4-$6 a slice

I would think anywhere around $5 to $7 per piece.

I would expect approx $300+. We paid $250 for ours and it didn't have as much design work done to it. That's a beautiful cake btw
