Thread: after the u/s...

I tried to update on the April 2013 bb and it did, but no one can tell because I have no idea how to change the title. Anywho, baby is IN THE RIGHT PLACE! Doc said she/he is right on for size according to LMP and we saw a heartbeat

So - we got a cute pic that I have no idea how to upload...haha. DH went with me, I started crying when the doc left the room. He says he's excited.. I can't really tell.

However, I can't even enjoy knowing the baby is fine - I puked the ENTIRE way home (my doc is in a diff city)..then I ate cuz I thought it just might be my stomach being empty. Then I get home - I still feel like puking...and DH took a nap and woke up with a KILLER attitude. Yay.

Anyway, thanks ladies, for being so supportive.

To edit your title...when you edit your post there is an option to "go advanced" on the bottom right. Click on that and you'll be able to edit your title.

Yay!!! I'm so glad you got to see a heartbeat!!! I'm sure your DH is over the moon!

Oh and you should ask your doctor for some anti-nausea meds. I've also heard that ginger and Seabands help.

Popping in to say how happy I am for you that you are on track!!!!! I was really sick even with nausea meds till 20 weeks so I sympathize. Every time my DH would tell me its' a good sign, I'de puke again. Just know it's worth it!!!

Thanks you guys!!! I think I was more excited to post my results up here than I was telling my friends/family...haha. Doc did say he wanted me back in two weeks so we can hear the heartbeat, he said it was perfectly fine that we didn't hear it yet.. as long as we saw it, and we did He was nice..answered all of my 1000's of questions. It was good - I knew as soon as he stuck the wand thingy up there that it was in the right place. With my ectopic, there was nothing there.

Question - he said I have a "pregnancy" cyst on my right ovary. I've read about those, not concerned... just wondering, do those cysts pop up on the ovary you ovulated from?

That's great that you get to go hear the hb in a couple of weeks. Definitely something to look forward to! Yes, I have a cyst on my left ovary, and the u/s tech told me that most likely means that was the side that did the trick for me.

I have continual problems with cysts. With this pregnancy I had 3, 2 very inflamed and painful but went away by 10 - 12 weeks or so.

They are really common, some of us have more trouble with them than others. Because mine were large and inflamed I was on limited activity till they went down.

Limited activity? Awesome, my boss would love that. I only had one cyst - he didn't seem too concerned about it. I was wondering because the cyst is on my right ovary and I had an ectopic on the left side.. so was just curious if I had ovulated on the right side. I was concerned about another ectopic. Although even if I would have known that the right side was the side it went down, I still would have been worried... cuz I loooooovvvveee to worry!

LOL Babywings, I'm another worrier, so I feel you. From what my u/s tech said, cysts like that are very common and rarely problematic, so try not to worry about it too much (sorry, I know that's no fun...LOL)
