cervix question (possible m/c ment)

So I am playing the waiting game right now. Things don't look good but are not confirmed by decreasing blood work yet. Something keeps popping in my head from yesterday's visit that I'm not sure I understand. While doing an exam she said I had more bleeding than she likes to see in a pregnany. She said my cervix had a pin-hole opening. So I am taking it as yes there is a small opening but it isn't a definate bad thing. Am I right in thinking that or am I missing something? Also what does tissue look like? I have had stringy blood. I only bled with my first mc for a couple days and I don't really remember and with my 2nd I found out before I started bleeding so I never paid much attention to the blood.

I don't really know the answer to your cervix question, although like you I would think a pinhole opening wouldn't necessarily mean bad things.

I did see your recent thread on the April BB about your beta number. I'm so sorry it wasn't good news. I see you have, unfortunately, btdt so you probably know what to expect. But I wanted to say...I just went through a natural m/c 2 weeks ago so if you have any questions or just need to talk please feel free to PM me.

((bighugs)) Mine was a surprise pregnancy too but it doesn't make the loss easy. Again, I'm so sorry you are going through this. ):

I don't have an answer about the cervix either, but I also read your post on April, and just wanted to tell you how sorry I am. I hope that you are holding up okay.

I am so sorry that you are going through this.

As for the cervix, I think having a pin hole size opening doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing. I mean, the cervix has to be open slightly in order to let some blood out, right? I've heard of lots of women who bleed and pass clots that have gone on to have perfectly healthy babies. So, there is always hope.

Tissue will look grayish. Hopefully you won't see any tissue, though.

Sending you lots of positive vibes!!!!
