Jessica - OMGosh, I would go through. the ROOF if someone did that to me!!! Like serious, sh!t just got real gangster style. For the life of me, I cannot IMAGINE what goes through some people's heads that a) they even feel like it's their business to comment on what somone else is eating, let alone b) freaking march over and THROW AWAY THEIR FOOD. I am seriously outraged for you, 6000 miles away. Flabbergasted. I think the next time you talk to her, the conversation needs to include the phrase "completely unacceptable behavior" and "respect for personal property" and also "none of your g-d business." What a jerk!

Nidia - Yay for a free meal! I am currently going through a "starving every couple of hours" phase myself! I'm currently eating a big bowl full of ramen because it was the most substantial thing I could find in the vending machines. I had a normal sized lunch, but I was starving by about 3:30.

Jina - Sorry again that you are feeling so exhausted. You'll have to let me know how unWholly is when you read it. I read unWind, but I didn't even know that there was a new one out! Will have to put that on my list. The soup looks amazing! I think I will make that on Monday when I'm home because of my appt.

Haha about stalking me. My appt is at 10 (MST) and then I have an OB appt immediately after, so I should be home I think by about noon.

Oh, so I went off of Progesterone a couple of days ago because I'm 12 weeks now. I was so freaking nervous about it; I even called the doctor to make sure if I really should go off, or if maybe I should go through the 12th week and maybe start tapering on week 13. They were like "Uh...no....you're good...you can just stop now...." So far no spotting or anything, so I guess I'm good...

Oh that's good that you came off your progesterone! Hopefully everything will continue to go well for you. Is it something your body is making naturally now? I don't know much about it...

Jessica - Supposedly by 12 weeks the placenta has taken over production of it, so assuming the placenta is normal it should be fine. It's just that progesterone and baby aspirin have been kind of my magic bullet this pregnancy, so coming off of one of them is a little scary.

Oh and by the way -
    Welcome to 12 weeks!!!!

Does anyone have any fun plans for the weekend? We have T's gymnastics on Saturday morning, and Sunday evening we are going to DH's aunt and uncle's house. DH's cousin (their daughter) just spent the past 18 months studying in the UK and she is home now, so they are throwing her a welcome home party.

I am running home on my lunch hour to throw one of Jina's recipes (pork with potatoes in ranch dressing sauce) in the crock pot. We will have that and steamed greenbeans and fresh strawberries for dinner tonight.

Jessica, I really hope they let you go back to your regular store next week! You should really speak up if they try to keep you there another week. Though, I know it's hard to say no to people. I'm like that too. It took me 2 months to actually leave my job after I put in my 2 weeks. They kept asking me to stay another 2 weeks so I'd stay and after the 2 weeks, they'd ask for another 2! It was crazy....I'm sure they realized that I was doing 2 FT jobs and they were stressful at that. My replacements kept quitting after a few days.

Anyhoo, haha...yeah....50 Shades....horrible! The writing is just terrible and they story wasn't even all that great. I read all 3 and the whole time I was cringing thinking...REALLY?! lol

Alissa, okay...I'm going to check right after lunch time!! Yay for being off of progesterone! I know how nerve wracking it is to stop them. When my RE told me to stop at 5/6 weeks I was a paranoid mess! I had her test my progesterone after I stopped and surprisingly they were rising even w/o the supplements. Plus, the placenta starts to take over at 9 weeks so I think you're good!

I bet the dinner party/welcome home party will be really fun!

AFM, we're not doing much this weekend. I need to run up to Ikea so I can find a cheap solution to our storage problems. I just don't want to rent a storage unit since we've decided to sell all of the furniture that's in the future nursery. I also don't want to spend a ton of money buying furniture just to store my shoes and winter coats for a year or so. We'll see.

I think we're taking it easy this weekend but next weekend my nieces are coming to spend the night. My BIL and SIL are going out of town so MIL and I are taking turns babysitting. Eeek....I hope I have the energy to keep up with them. Wish me luck! lol

On the menu for the next 2 weeks - Beef and Broccoli Lo-mein, Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup, Sloppy Joes (lol...thanks for the idea, Alissa! I think my neices will really enjoy!), Spicy Thai Chicken and Rice bowls, Baked Chicken and spinach Flautas and Spaghetti Squash Casserole Bake. I'll share recipes and pics on the recipe thread.

Jina - all that food sounds SO GOOD. I'm scared to go out of DH's comfort zone with food because generally he flat out refuses to try it. I'm a BIG fan of squash, I love it all...and DH doesn't like regular yellow squash, so he won't TOUCH any of the other kinds. However, he does like beef and broccoli so that might be something for me to try.

Alissa, thank you for the about being 12 weeks. I am glad to be at this point - I was thinking, technically...two more twelve week periods and I'll be almost done! And this 12 weeks has FLOWN by, even each day kinda drags.

I have really dumb question.. is the placenta attached to the gestational sac and then the cord attached to the baby? Is the cord always there, because I haven't seen it any u/s. Okay, that's more than one question.

AFM, .....I got news today that I'm STILL not going back to my store. Not only do they need me another week but here's the District Managers plan: Promote someones backup to a full time receiver, put the back up in a low volume store and then take the more experienced receiver and put them at the store I'm at now. Sounds to ME like: Put a back up at Jessica's store and give her this one. I'm HOT, I mean, that wasn't actually SAID, but that's what I'm thinking. I definitely have more experience than a lot of people and my original store is low volume, versus the one I'm at now. AHH, I don't wanna stay in this store! The lady that was rude to me didn't speak to me today until I walked RIGHT BY her and she was like.."Oh...Hello Jessica." Oh please! You've seen me like 10 times already today, don't act like you didn't know I was here. Tomorrow, I get to work BOTH stores. *eyeroll* Oh - and Jina - I've told them no over and over. However, it's not like I really have a choice. In my company, if you don't do ask you are "asked" then you don't do at all, they'll find something stupid and trivial to fire you over.

Aaaaaargh! I am sooooo mad at myself. I just saw that I missed a call from my OB. I checked my voice mail, and they said that I missed my u/s appt!!! I thought it was Monday!!!! So of course I called right back to reschedule, but they are closed for lunch until 1:30 (it's about 12:20 now.) Aaaaaargh! I am so hoping that they can get me in later today or on Monday. Shoot shoot shoot shoot!

Pshew! All's well that ends well! I am going to post a thread about my appointment, but from my laid back demeanor, you can probably tell that a) they got me in and b) things are great.

Jina - I hope that you find lots of good ideas at Ikea. I love Ikea, and I have faith that you will find lots of cool and space saving tips there. I definitely hope you get your energy back up before you baby sit your nieces! I'm sure they are a handful since they are pretty close together. I hope they like the sloppy joes! LOL

YUM - all of the meals you posted sound amazing! I can't wait to hear how the Spaghetti Squash casserole bake turns out.

Jessica - UGH, sorry that you have to stay at that store for now, and that you may have to go there on a more full time basis! How much farther away is it? I'm sorry that woman was still being a jerk today, but honestly it sounds to me like you're better off having her not talk to you, if talking to you involves browbeating you about your food and throwing your stuff away!

Lynn - How are you doing? I'm so stalking you to see when you get your BFP!

So.. I was talking about pg.org to DH and ..he knows I'm on here a lot. So, I told him about you (alissa), you (jina), you (nidia) and you (lynn). LOL.

What? He was completely not listening to me about work, so I REALLY bored him out of his mind with pregnancy talk. LOL
