They have no idea what happened.

How funny that the tickers are not moving.

Alissa, I said something to DH about the ticker saying the same fruit. He laughed at me because I was really ticked about it! LOL. But if you count the little circles of fruit down at the bottom, there's not nearly enough to cover 40 weeks of pregnancy, so maybe baby stays about the same size, but is just putting on fat? I dunno. I felt cheated! LMAO I'm glad T went back to being normal last night. I know he's too little to really comprehend, but it was probably better for him that he did act good...haha. I hope you have a good time tonight and hopefully he will stay behaved. And, can I just say that I totally get a little jealous because you ALWAYS have plans? I never have plans. Like....ever. LOL But then I'm also super lazy, so no plans is probably good for me. I really hope your pic of your dog turns out! It was too cute!

Bonita, I'm a little confused because tubals don't just ...correct themselves. I'm glad you HSG showed everything is still tied up, but it makes me wonder if something is giving you some HCG or... I dunno. Maybe you did have a tubal, but it didnt actually stick... but that wouldn't make sense either because if your tubes are blocked, it would have HAD to be growing in the tube still. (((HUGS))) how confusing!

Jina, I just can't get my mind around the fact that you're so close to being done. Aaaaaand, I totally feel ya about people looking at just your belly. I mean, how many pregnant people are there, that your belly is still considered something to stare at? I feel like an endangered species or something LOL

AFM, where should I start? Yesterday I went over my friends house. She had a bad day at work, so I spent three hours over there with her venting. I got home and shortly thereafter DH got home from school. We were both exhausted and went to bed but it was still 11pm by the time we got in bed, so this morning was super fun for me because I didn't get much sleep. I got to work and called the oil company. They have been a PAIN in my butt because I moved out of my other place in JULY and this company has a reading down to give me credit on my propane, but has never actually issued the credit NOR written it up in the computer. So anyway, I have oil heat here, so I called to get 100 gallons of oil which is super duper expensive...(my mom gave me the money) and after 30 minutes of being on the phone, they finally issued my credit and told me how much it was gonna be. I told them to deliver tomorrow (I'm off) and he said if I stopped by the office and paid today, I wouldn't have to wait on the driver tomorrow (it's cash on delivery). Sooo, I left work a bit late.... I was inputting stuff on the computer and suddenly just lost about half of what I had done so I had to re-do it. Then someone bought me lunch and I wasn't going to turn THAT down. So I get home and decide I'm gonna take a nap, then get up and go pay the oil company and then go get some wrapping paper. (Don't let that fool you!! I still don't have anything to wrap LOL). I hear this tiny knock on the door and I kinda sorta wake up and hear the oil truck in my driveway. So I bolted into clothes and outside - he was about to leave, but he saw me. I was like..uh, you're not supposed to be here until tomorrow, but this works out good! Now I don't have to go to the office to pay. He kept talking about the guy who used to live here and my neighbor (he used to work for them) and he kept smiling like...he knows a whole lot of stuff that I don't. I was polite, but he kinda creeped me out.
Also, (sorry this is so long) two people rubbed my belly today. Kinda weirded me out a little. I'm not a touchy-feely type person anyway. One asked, one didn't. My boss said he was going to start calling me Buddha belly and charging people 5 dollars to rub my belly for luck *eyeroll*. I smacked him in the back of his head when he said that. It's kind of funny because I thought Monday I looked bigger, BUT I'm wearing a smaller size shirt. It still fits, but it realllllly shows off my bump whereas the other shirts I wear kind of hide it and if I'm in my hoodie, you can hardly tell. It was really warm yesterday and part of today, so my hoodie was at my desk. Two other people asked if I was pregnant and one of them REALLY PISSED ME OFF. He walks up to me and says, "You look pregnant". I said, "I am pregnant". He said, "You and your boyfriend should have really used birth control." UGHHHH. I said, "You mean my husband"... he was like oh I didn't know you got married. I said yes, and we've been trying to have a child so this is a blessing, thank you.

    Stupid prick.

Okay I'm done now! Hope you ladies have a nice night!

    Sorry for the long day.

From what I can tell from reading online a tubal can re-absorb into the body. That would not explain the clots that I passed though. Neither would not having had been pregnant. The test really did not give me any answers.

Jessica - I feel cheated too!!!! And I don't believe it's because they don't have different fruit to use. If you go to this link Baby Size Chart - Fetus Size Chart they have got fruits and veggies for all of the weeks. I want my canteloupe, darnit!!!!

Haha, I do often have plans. My thing is, I'm not much of a homebody, so on the weekends I usually look for something to do, and if someone invites me to do something, I rarely say no. I like to be out and about. T totally inherited that trait from me too; when we do stay home he is always bugging me to go somewhere.

Okay, so WTH about the guy saying "You and your bf should have used birth control." Ummmmm, excuse me???? Even if Tim was your bf and it had been a total oopsie pregnancy, how is that ANY business of his? I think sometimes people think they are being funny (especially men) but they totally aren't. My SIL's boyfriend has two grown kids, and he's made several comments about us making a mistake by having another kid. And I know he means it like well meaning jokes, but I'm always just like "No, that's not funny." OH, and DH's cousin "joked" that she was going to get me a box of condoms for my baby shower (not that I'm even having a baby shower, but still.) Sooooo funny. Anyway, people are idiots, but that guy seems like an even bigger idiot than most. I also can't believe that people are rubbing your belly without asking. I've heard of people doing that, but no one ever did that to me with T or yet with this one. Maybe I look mean or something. LOL That's just weird to have someone grab at your person without permission.

Are they going to do any other testing? I just feel so badly that you still don't have any answers about what happened or if it could happen again. The blood clots defintely makes it sound like you were pregnant, and not having some sort of hormonal thing.

They did not offer to do anything other than "re-castrate" my tubes. The whole mess has just left me numb.

With all three of my girls I never had anyone rub my belly other than DH and my daughters wanting to feel the baby move.

I think this whole thing is worth getting a second opinion when you feel up to it. ((hugs))

Bonita, I'm with Alissa, would you consider getting a second opinion? I would recommend seeing a RE. In my experience, REs are much more interested in getting to the bottom of things than OBs. ((((((HUGS))))))

Alissa, yep, that's it! Buying things just for the sake of buying things. I think it's awesome that you guys will have no gifts for adults policy. I am so so so jealous! I wish we could do that but I think MIL might get a little upset. My BIL and SIL stopped participating years ago and (but he doesn't have a problem receiving gifts. ) she was really hurt and annoyed by that so I don't want to hurt her feelings by telling her we want to stop exchanging gifts as well...you know? Blah!

I know! 8 weeks! Yikes! I was talking to M last night and I asked if he was getting nervous at all and he said NOPE! I'm totally ready to meet our baby boy. Easy for him to say...he's not the one who has to push out a watermelon out of his you know what! lol I dunno...it's the silly little things that makes me a bit nervous. Like, M and I like to sometimes run out and do weird sh!t like go out to eat at 2am or go for a drive and see what's open to go shopping in the middle of the night. We sometimes like to take spontaneous mini road trips or just be lazy and do absolutely nothing at all. We're not going to be able to do those things anymore....I don't think. Oh well, I'm really NOT complaining....just....afraid of change I guess.

I really really hope the painting turns out okay. It really is pretty effing awesome!

Yay! So glad to hear that T is back to normal. Geez...I wonder why he was acting like that?! I hope you guys had an awesome time at the party!

Ugh! I know! I've been stuck at "squash" for weeks now. I want a new fruit!! LOL

Jessica, I know! I mean, I see pregnant people all the time so I don't get why people act like they've never seen a pregnant belly before.

I'm glad everything worked out with the delivery man. Wow, your boss sounds like a total @ss! Why in the world would he say something like that?! Seriously?! I think people just say things without thinking and really don't mean to be rude. I've had soooo many people tell us to not have kids and how they'll ruin our lives and blah blah blah while I was going through 3 miscarriages and a CP. I'm like...um...okay...thanks for the advice? When we announced our pregnancy a lot of people were totally shocked and instead of a simple congrats I got "Wow, I thought you didn't want kids!" or "Your life is so over". Um...I don't know what gave them that impression because I've never said I didn't want kids...people just assumed because M and I have been together for so long and never talked about our reproductive plans with other people. Anyway, I don't let sh!t like that get to me because I know they don't mean to be rude...they just can't help it.

AFM, I'm feeling very tired today but I don't feel as sick! Yay!

I need to start wrapping gifts today so I don't get behind. I'm totally not bragging (maybe a little! ) but I'm known for my awesome giftwrapping abilities. I worked at a very upscale boutique/gift shop when I was a teenager and picked up a few skills. Anyway, I always have a theme each year and this year I'm thinking about just going and buying gift bags because I just don't have the energy to come up with ideas or wrap packages. Is that bad? I don't care...I'm not going to stress out about stup!d giftwrap when I have a million other things I need to think about. lol

I hope everyone is having a good day today!

I am thinking of having all the records sent to my PCP and then asking my PCP for a referral to someone else.

I am not sure how I would go about going to an RE without a referral from my OB.

FYI - I was 32 weeks when Caitlyn was born...

Jina - YES! I have totally gotten a few "Kids will ruin your life" comments, especially from my SIL's boyfriend which is extra dumb because I already have one. I do NOT know what gets into people....

As for changing the things that you and M like to do, from my experience yes, it will, but you don't have to give up on everything you love. My belief is that as much as possible, we need to fit our kids into our lives and families, rather than completely re-arranging our lives and families around the baby (unless you live a really crazy party-at-the-club-til dawn-every-night kind of lifestyle. ) So for example, you may not get to go shopping in the middle of the night much anymore (lugging a small child around in the middle of the night won't be any fun anyway...) but driving in the middle of the night is probably fine at least until Baby Boy gets a little older. Reason being, nothing puts a baby to sleep like riding in the car, so if you guys are awake and want to go for a drive at midnight, Baby Boy will happily sleep through it. Pre-schoolers are a little harder because they will wake up for a while if you wake them up to get them in the car, although most likely they will go back to sleep as well. Eating at 2 am is okay too; just plan to feed baby on his normal schedule and then send M out for takeout whenever you feel like eating. DH and I still only eat dinner with T about half the time because DH loves to eat late too, so some nights we eat at a normal hour with T, and some nights we feed him dinner and eat after he goes to bed. He's fine either way. The only thing I really think that will probably change about all of this middle of the night activity is that you may find yourself too tired (at least for a while) to want to go anywhere or eat anything at 2 am.

Road trips are fine too. Again, when he's a little baby, he'll most likely sleep through most of the driving. When he's a toddler, you will just need to pack things for him to do, snacks, and stop more often (every couple of hours) to let him run off his yayas. That becomes something new and fun though - it takes a bit more planning, but you find yourself stopping at parks and rest stops in towns you've never been to and would never stop at if not for Little Guy. We started taking T on road trips when he was 2, and he has always been totally fine. Again, with a 2 year old (or older) you can also plan to do at least some of your driving at night so they sleep through it. There is something sweet and cozy about driving down a dark highway with your sleeping child in the back, talking in quiet voices with your husband. I recommend it.

Anyway, point being, I don't think that having a baby means that you have to stop doing all of the fun stuff that you love, it just means that maybe you have to think a little more about how Baby fits in to those plans.

Okay, on a totally different note, I fully support your decision to use gift bags. LOL I personally hate wrapping presents and avoid it whenever possible. I always wrap T's presents because kids love ripping wrapping paper, but beyond that, if you're getting a present from me, you're getting a gift bag. End of story. LOL

AFM - Had fun at the Hannukah Festival last night! They go all out! They had bouncy castles, games, crafts, and a small indoor train and a magic show! Plus, this was put on by T's preschool, so he knew most of the older kids that were there and his two best buddies were there, so they had a great time running from bouncy castle to train to bouncy castle. For the most part I just sat back and let them have at it, and just kept half an eye on him to make sure he was still in the neighborhood. LOL We don't have any plans tonight, so I need to figure out what I am going to cook for dinner. That's about it. Hope everyone is having a great day!
