I think I'm having round ligament pain. I have no idea what it's supposed to feel like but my both sides of my uterus hurts! Kinda like a pulling sensation. It really, really hurts. I don't know, according to American Pregnancy.org, the pain should only last for a few seconds. This is a constant ache. Hubby and I dtd this morning but I don't usually get pains this intense after dtd. It's normally just some mild cramping. I know the baby is (hopefully) okay because I pulled out my doppler and s/he was moving around like crazy. Maybe my uterus is going through a growth spurt?!
So, what could this pain be?
Hmm, I'm not really sure. I would guess RLP though, I never experienced it like that but have seen other ladies describe it that way. Do you have a doc appointment with your u/s today? If so, hope they can give you some answers...I'm interested to hear what doc would say.
Jina - I often would have pains like that. My specialist attributed most of it to stretching. Especially if you dtd and had some strong contractions there was likely pulling across your abdomen. With this being a time they really start growing, you are probably stretching too. I'de have days at a time I just hurt while I was stretching and then I'de be fine for a week.
I wouldn't worry unless it is Cramping, Feels like Contractions, you spot or is still there tomorrow after taking it easy.
One day about as far along as you are I decided to clean out our office and move boxes. I pulled my side carrying boxes and hurt for 2 entire days!!!
Yes, I remember that I had pain that ached and lasted that was RL pain (according to my doctor.) I would ask your doctor about it (especially since you conveniently have an appt today) but I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Thanks ladies. The pain is subsiding a bit, thank goodness. Lynn and Alissa, no, I don't have an appointment with my OB today. I'm only going in for the early gender scan. I see her for the anatomy scan in 13 days so I'll ask her about it then. I'm not spotting or cramping so hopefully it's just my uterus growing. Danielle, ouch! I bet puling your side hurt!! I'm trying to take it as easy as possible. I did spend the past 2 days cleaning up a storm. Maybe I did pull something. Or like you said, it's just stretching pains.
Me too! I keep checking in hoping for an update....on the edge of my seat!
