Alissa, you're not huge. You look great! I still have to wear certain clothes to even look pregnant. Since I'm....big, I've always worn big clothes, so now I just look bigger. LMAO
    Thanks Jessica!

    T's new room:

Tell me the truth, do you like the wall color? T reeeeeaaaally wanted green, like "Hulk" green, but we are planning on putting our house on the market at the beginning of summer, so we didn't want to get too crazy. We talked him into this green instead, and I like it, but my MIL totally made me feel bad about it. She was like "Do you worry at all that you'll have a hard time selling your house because of that color?" Hmmm, no, I didn't, but now I do. It's just paint though, right? It's easy enough to paint over if people really won't buy a house with a green bedroom...

Alissa, my expertise: (haha) Okay, my mother painted her kitchen red, like a deep, dark spanish red and did not change it when we moved. The realtor said it'd be an issue to find someone to like that color, they "have" to be into the same colors as you were and that would narrow down the amount of people interested. We sold it to the FIRST person who walked through the door.

I've always always always liked bright colors..or any color. I hate beige, tan, sand, brown, etc. I want electric blue, lime green, turquoise, bright purple, etc...so if I were to see that bedroom of yours while I was looking for a house, I'd be on board. If ANY parent sees your bedroom, it'll automatically be for their kid (that green is light enough to throw some pink in and make it a girls bedroom too). Your realtor is going to tell you to paint it back white or off white. I don't think it's necessary. I like it.

However, you're right, a couple cans of primer and it'll be back white anyway if you so chose to do that.

Jessica - Thanks for the input! That's kind of what I was thinking too; this is a neighborhood full of smallish houses in a well known good school district, perfect for young families. I figured that if any family (either with kids or thinking about kids) sees the two smaller bedrooms, they will immediately think of their kids that they either have or want. It's also funny that I'm just now worried about a color - we love color and I think our stairway and upstairs hallway are the only white parts of the house. Our living room is yellow, our kitchen/dining area is blue, our bedroom is sort of a sage green, and the baby's room is very light blue. Our master bathroom is sort of a khaki green, and our other two bathrooms both have wall paper with color. So yeah, this is a colorful house. It's probably a little late to be worrying about a lime green bedroom.

I'm glad that you agree that hopefully it won't be a problem though (or if it is, it's an easy fix.) That makes me feel better.

I love T's new room! Hehe...love all the pirate ships...so cute! I'm glad you talked T into painting the room a softer green vs Hulk green. I don't think it'll be an issue when you put the house on the market. Serious buyers will not care about cosmetic things. Paint is one of the easiest things to change that they won't really care what color the room is...you know? Anyway, how is T liking it? I bed he's in heaven...lol.

Thanks Jina! Yep, he loves it. Except, he was sleeping on the floor next to my bed when I woke up this morning, which is what he does when he has a bad dream but not bad enough to want to wake me up to lay with him. He'll drag his pillow and blanket into our room and just lay in between my side of the bed and the dresser. I asked him why he was sleeping on my floor and he said "I didn't want to wake up Daddy with my moving around on the bed." I can't tell if that is a bigger commentary on the fact that he's becoming (at least a little) thoughtful, or the fact that DH is a notorious brat about being woken up.

Awww....hopefully T had a better night last night. LOL about your DH's grumpy-ness about being woken up. That's totally me. I get very upset when I get woken up...I guess I need to...ugh....get over that now.
