Thread: Spotting - Test Results Update post 29 (m/c mentioned)

Whith my last m/c my progesterone was really low. That made it so that when I got pg with Caitlyn we tested it right away. It was a 6. They got me on supplements and she went on to be a healthy almost 3 year old.

Lynn, the progesterone level seems low but your HCG seems right on target for around 5 weeks. Are you getting an u/s at your appointment today? I agree with everyone, progesterone supplements are pretty easy to take, a little messy, but easy. Please KUP!

I took pogesterone in oral pill form. Expensive little pills, but so worth it.

Ok, so my final update...
the u/s showed no sign of pregnancy in my uterus or anywhere else...sad but good news too. I'm just so glad everything cleared on it's own and I don't have to worry about possibly still needing a d&c. Doc didn't even want to have more bloodwork, he was confident everything is ok. He sat and talked with me for a while, his official recommendation is wait 3 cycles but I told him I felt comfortable with not preventing and just see what happens. Especially since it was a fairly early m/c and my body cleared it with no help and he agreed it really shouldn't be a problem. He also told me to call as soon as I get pregnant again and come in for blood work. He wants to get me on a prog supplement ASAP if the numbers are borderline at all. Otherwise he just said he hopes to see me back soon.

Thanks ladies for all your support and kind words. I hope to be back here pretty soon although I'm sure I'll continue to post here until it really picks up with other PAL ladies. I'll be keeping up with you all and hoping for a continuing HH9M's for each of you.

Lynn I'm so glad that you didn't have to go through the D&C and that you and your doc and DH are all on the same page about letting it happen. I hope that you get AF quickly, and that JLIH means that it happens sooner rather than later. I'm also on the oral progesterone pills, and they are definitely no big deal, you just take them before bed. Oh I am so glad that you are going to keep hanging out with us! I will be so psyched when you get your bfp!

Yes, it's me over here in East TN You asked me a question about the ROC the other day and I forgot to answer, sorry about that. The answer was I never did go to the ROC.

Lynn, I agree with Alissa on everything. I'm so sorry about your loss but I'm so glad you don't have to get a D&C. It also sounds like you have an awesome doctor. I'm glad he's going to be testing your progesterone. I'm also happy that you'll be hanging around! I hope that we can share your ttc journey and hope you get a sticky bfp soon!!! ((((HUGS))))
