    Default 27 wk appt XP

SO I had an appt yesterday and US. 1st the US. The girls are etsimated to be over 2.5 lbs each and over 65% on the curve! They are still at 4% growth difference (so that is great)! A is now heads down and B is breech...HR's were in the 150's... they looked great! Now for me. I gained .6 of a lb..WOOT! So I have yet to even hit 30lbs which makes me really happy! My BP was 102/60 (AWESOME)! My cervix is still closed and I dont have any restrictions at this point!!! He and I discussed delivery etc. I will not go past 38 wks or 9/12, but he is doubtful that I will make it that far. I told him that I will carry these babies as long as possible, but that I dont want to go past 38wks! LOL 37 wks sounds ideal to me personally! So next Friday AM I am going to do the glucose test and then I see him in 2wks and 4wks(US too) and then I start weekly appts @ 32 wks along w/ NST! I am just SO happy that this pregnancy seems to be going perfectly, I know that can change on a dime, but for now we are doing GREAT!

So glad to hear you had a good appt!

Sounds like both you and the babies are doing well.

I am glad you have a final date so you know for sure you won't go passed that point. I tell you what though 38 weeks seems rough right now for me. I just can't imagine making it that far. I have been trying to break it down to one week at a time but that is starting to get difficult. I think I am going to have to break down my goals into my biweekly appts so time doesn't seem to go so slow.

Jennie it is funny you say that because right now I am just taking it appt by appt. I would really love to make it to 37wks, because 38 wks just sounds Although I am doing and feeling great right now I can tell that things are getting tight in there. I cant sit straight up anymore for long periods, I really need to be reclined as I have a head and feet up near my ribs and its not comfy. My belly is really getting tight esp above my belly button and I am just waiting for it to expand! LOL
Oh and I think the reason 38wks has come up is because the hospital will not let the OB's schedule csections prior to 38wks w/o reason, but like he sd it would be unlikely to make it that far... so I guess we shall see!

My dr says the same thing. She won't let me go passed 38 weeks but think I will deliver before then - I sure hope so. I seriously cannot imagine going another 3 weeks and 2 days.

Great news all around with everyone healthy and a last possible end date set!

I must say from a completely selfish standpoint, it's also nice for me to hear the positive, healthy experiences from those ahead of me!

Everything sounds great. You must be so happy with your results. My doc also won't let me pass 38 weeks. I have my 28 week appt/US next week as well as the GD test (which I'm scared to death about failing) and I hope the babies are doing as well as yours are. I too can't sit upright for too long, I have to recline. Yay for great appt. makes me excited for next week.

    Yeah Erin!!!

Terrific news on all fronts! So happy for you and your LO's. 37 weeks sounds like an awesome goal to me....LOL it is what I am aiming for as well...11/1/11.

I thought I had read that full term for twins was 36-37 weeks, isn't that so?

And, I too go appt to appt...which for me has be every 2 weeks thus far due to my hematoma.

Good luck with the glucose test!!

My OB says full term is 35-36 weeks for twins, but since I am having a cesction the hospital will not allow them to "schedule" it prior to 38 wks. For me 37 wks is 9/5/11- Labor Day! I think that would be a perfect Birthday

    sounds like a great appt!!

36wks is considered term for twins, but most docs/hospitals will not take them at that point. We tried to schedule out c/s for 36wks 2 days, (my doc got called out for delivery) and multiple ppl in the office said the hospital did not allow it under any circumstances. Thankfully the doc was able to explain why they needed to be taken early, and they were. But you girls can do it!! 37 wks, so many getting so close!
