appt today 25 wks

Had an appt today, nothing.eventful had my cervix checked and that looked good, the nurse though I gained 70 lbs for a split second in the last two week s LOL. Got a few questions answered, my.OB doesn't believe in bed rest, asked about being taken off work and.he said he won't unless.medically necessary especially since I don't have a physically hard job...but so.far everything looks good, have gained a little under 20 lbs from pp weight sadly I was as my pp weight at about 18-20 weeks so.I have gained it all faster LOL

Glad your appt went well. My doc doesn't believe in bed rest either. I wouldn't worry about your weight gain, I had gained 24lbs by the time I reached 24 weeks and it has slowed down since than.

Glad to hear that all is going smoothly. My weight "took off" around 18/20 weeks as well. I am thinking it is normal.

Phew...good appt!

I'm scared to look at my weight gain. My usual MO is to lose weight from all over my body & send it all to my abdomen. Looking like I've eaten a beach ball at this point.

Not believing in bed rest unless necessary is good but I feel for you on the working. By 3pm I'm so physically exhausted & just uncomfortable in my own skin it is painful. Eeeppp...

Working gets harder the further along you get, I won't lie. But I think it has made the pregnancy go by a little faster. Otherwise I'd just be sitting at home watching tv! But the countdown is on...only 12 working days! YAY

Oh man! I couldn't have made it without bed rest. I could barely sit up for more than a couple hours at a time, even as early as the second trimester. I would have never been able to work!

I am so glad things are going well for you though! :vibes:
