Holy Movement, Batman

I think I'm starting to feel real movement!! Yahoo

It feels like bubbles, but not gas bubbles. Almost like air bubbles flipping in my stomach - if that doesn't sound crazy. And the bubbles are right where the babies are (I have a Doppler, so I know where they are located!). It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does it is for like 5 min at a time.

Does this sound like it could be them or am I wishful thinking?

I can't wait until I look pregnant and not just like I ate a bunch of cake!!!!!!!

Sounds like it to me. I think I was around the same as you when I started feeling movement. And don't worry, the belly will continue to grow...and grow...and grow!

So true on the grow and grow and grow! I just shared this shocker with the December board ... and I loved a response that it looks like I'm starting to pop a bit. Haha!

But yes, you should get another 12 weeks of cute kicking and flipping until you start swearing at them. Wink

Woah.

I felt my first movements at 14 weeks. I'm a twin, and I told my mother about it, and she said I was crazy. I know what I felt!

Now, however, I'm getting kicked with so much strength, it's starting to keep me up at night. When they roll over, it stops me in my tracks because i still haven't gotten used to the feeling. I'm only 25 weeks. What am I going to do?!

Yep, that is what you are feeling. Just wait until you get a nice swift kick to your bladder. Woah! Lol

Oh, and I felt my girls at about 14 weeks, but it wasn't regular until 15-16 weeks.

I know this sounds completely crazy but the day I found out it was twins (12 wks) I felt my 1st flutter. I continued to feel them on and off for several weeks until it became daily and constant @ 17 wks. Biggrin

Movement can be super cool, but it can also get to be annoying and painful. Thankfully we're still at the super cool stage.

That totally sounds like movement to me. Yay!

I felt mine ridiculously early this time, at my 11.5 week app when she was trying to find a heartbeat someone RAN from the doppler. It was hilarious.

Thanks, everyone! It is quite exciting; although I do not look forward to pain! Smile

Holy growth in 10 weeks by the way! You look awesome!!

Yup, thats it. Smile And you'll definitely get to feeling more. I didn't feel it til later with these boys, like 16wks (felt it at 14wks with my singles), but I had one anterior placenta, so felt a little less. But they more than made up for it later. Wink

Well, it has begun. In the last 5 days, I went from flutters to one kick a day to a few kicks a day to (esp. after I eat) one kick every 10 minutes.

I'm super excited, but a little creeped out to keep feeling these "twitches." At this point, because they are still so small, they feel like muscle twitches in my abdomen. My DH felt his first kick two nights ago. He was pretty excited (well, for him anyway...a smile is a huge emotional reaction for him!). Yahoo

At about what point should I expect to really be kicked, you know?

And is it bad of me to feel a little creeped out by the movement? I mean I LOVE it, but at the same time it's like "whoa, there are things growing inside of me!" Smile

Oh it's SUPER creepy and it only gets creepier when you can tell which end is which and actually feel people turning around inside!

I'm just beginning the fluttering stage so I can't really offer advice... Just wanted to jump in and say 'Yay!!!' must be SO cool for DH to finally feel them too.

As for the creepy factor, I was just saying that to DH- how weird the feelings and activity feel inside this week. I bet it gets even weirder when you actually see a hand or foot poking out of your belly! Tiny little humans are definitely inside there!

YES! Yesterday after I responded here about knowing which end is which I caught my first glimpse of an actual BABY FOOT through my belly. SO CREEPY! Of course now they've been at it for the past 12 hours. There's a knee, there's a foot, oh another foot. CREEEEEEEEEPY!

exciting stuff! Smile I miss feeling two babies moving inside of me. At about 35wks I made a video of my belly moving, it was creepy and cool.... unfortunately it seems to be lost. Sad Still makes me so sad that I cannot find it.

I mean, it's not like those creepy photoshopped pictures of babies feet with toes and everything showing through, but still ...
