Awesome!!! You can totally survive the rest of the week.

And for what it's worth, my water broke 8 hours before my induction ... so have that bag packed just in case! Smile

Yay! It is getting close! Is there a reason they are inducing before 39 weeks? I cannot remember and I am just curious.

A lot of doctors induce at 38 weeks for fear of placental breakdown. My doctor only works on M and Th at the hospital. She had a few c-sections planned for Thurs the 8th (38 weeks exactly), so she moved me up to deliver on Monday (37w4d). That way I can get more attention from her being "high risk"!

I swear if my doctor hadn't delivered my babies it could have been a lot worse. its very reassuring having your doctor deliver. Good Luck, so excited for you.

Ok. Just curious. My perinatalogist refused to plan anything before 39 weeks unless there was a problem. He felt that the babies needed that extra time for development. We ended up delivering at 37w2d because of IUGR and it was good we did. However, having had 3 babies born before 38 weeks, I always wish my kids could have had that extra time. Best of luck on Sunday. Please make sure to give us a brief post to update us after the babies are born.

I have a feeling she won't make it the induction and pull a "Shelia" instead!
