Mfm appointment

I had my appt yesterday. All babies looked good. At 19.5 weeks baby A the girl was 10oz and B and C were 12 ozs. My cervix was 4.3. I had a small scare when she told me baby A had a tiny chroid plexus. She assurances me that it will cause no problems and I can't find a single case on line where it ended badly. She does not even want a follow up with me about it. Dr said it should resolve around 28 weeks and that it was very tiny. I have to say that anytime you use the word cyst and brain it scares the pure mess out of you. And the word trisomy 18 is another. She said baby A had no other characteristics of trisomy 18, but chroid plexus is soft marker. I feel that she will be ok. I am going to talk to my regular ob about it tomorrow. Any experiences?

Things sound like they are going well. That cervix is a great length. I am glad the doctors were able to reassure you about baby A. :bigarmhug:

I got told my baby B had a tiny chroid plexus.. Dr said the Blood work all came back fine for the 16 week blood panel (I am losing my mind and can't think of the correct name for "that" blood work they do around 16-20 weeks.) The only reason dr told me was that if I was reading my chart and saw the word cyst I wouldn't freak . which is he right I would have and even so I googled everything and got even more worried!!! They checked again around maybe 22 weeks and the maternal fetal dr could still sorta see it, but by 24-26 weeks everything was fine as I am sure it will be for you!!! My first advice is stay off google and try not to worry about it (easier said than done) Babies A,b and c sound perfect Smile

The chord plexus was gone at 24 week u/s!!!!! All babies measuring in the 70th percentile!!! The little girl baby a is the biggest now. No wonder I am so uncomfortable!
