    Default Miserable (vent)

So intellectually I know I need a good week + with these babies but I have been so miserable the last two days I just want to cry and scream. My feet are swelling, my belly hurts in any position I'm in, sitting is miserable, my hips feel like they have ripped out of joint and I can't breathe or sleep.

Where do you find the fortitude to make it through this last month?

You can do it! Dig deep and take some nice, long and hot (as is safe for the babies)showers. The showers and sleeping as much as possible seemed to help me make it to the end.

Here motivation for you...no NICU. I know your pain and at your point I was so miserable and literally crying myself to sleep. When my doctor decided to induce at 36 weeks my imitate fear was if they'll be in the NICU but he felt confidant that they would be ok so I went ahead with it. Delivery day comes, brad is born perfectly, and my princess of a daughter had to make a grand entrance so off we went for a c-section. Long story short kaylee was in the NICU the minute she was born and brad was put in 12 hrs after birth due to low blood sugar. You think you're miserable now, try having your precious babies takin away from you after a horrible birth. So the longer you keep those beautiful babies baking the less likely they be in the NICU. Trust me, I understand whole heartedly where you are coming. I was suffering from ICP and was in utter hell and my biggest regret is not pushing to wait another week (although I know the doctor felt it necessary).

Hang in there. You're doing amazing and before you know it your little ones will be here and it will all be worth it.

My sleep isn't too bad, I usually only get up once a night.

I can't work with from home, because I have clients I have to meet with. My only problem is my legs are starting to get achy from sitting without them up. I'm hopefully only looking at another week, though, so I can make that.

I am so jealous of your sleeping - I can't sleep more than at absolute most 1 hr 30 min at a time so you can image I get up alot because alot of times it's 45 min stretches now.

The achy legs started a while back with me and other than dizziness is the primary reason I'm at home. I'de be in tears driving home from the pain in my legs...not to mention no matter how good your car AC is 40 minutes when it's 100+ degrees outside is still hot in your car when you are in traffic!

Hang in there - I keep telling myself if Erica can make it I can too....

add me to the miserable list !!!! I keep telling myself you gotta make it to 37-38 weeks so here I go giving it my best. I am so tired by midafternoon however my kids don't understand that!!! My largest baby was 7lbs 14 oz. I just came from a specialist apt and they say aprox baby A weights 5lbs even and B 4lbs 8oz...... so that is 9lbs 8oz of total baby no wonder I feel like crap lol!!!
