So much baby.
The OB laughed when I asked if I was bigger than done and his response was "OH YEAH!" I've got seven and a half pounds of baby, an extra placenta and an extra amniotic sac. You know how twins often end up a little small for their age? Well, someone has to be the exception. I'm 31 weeks with babies measuring 32 and 33 weeks Holy crap, no wonder I'm so huge. There's no way they're going to let me go to 38 weeks. We'll schedule the section next time (vaginal birth is now completely out of the question) and they'll be here in a month or so. He even said he'd be perfectly comfortable with them coming out in just another couple of weeks. Getting to the office is a big pain and I'm doing fine so I don't need to go in for another two weeks. I was warned I'll be carrying around quite a load in a couple of weeks and not to expect to be able to move about much.

wow, those are some big babies! :) Hopefully they will stay in for a little bit longer, just because big babies doesn't always mean mature lungs and such. I hope you can endure this last little bit well! ;)

Here they are!

I guess it was nice knowing that I would not have bad stretch marks if I were having just one baby (a couple of little white squigglies on the hips is all) ... we'll see what's to come.
I also reached a big HUGE scary scale number at this appointment, too. Like, move the marker over, nurse. We're calling it the number which shall not be named.

I don't think you look that big at all! I think you look great! I hope to look that good at 31 weeks.
And at least you must have some good sized babies - which is better than small babies! Your secret!? I am barely showing at 17 weeks, hoping to get there soon!

The belly just started growing like crazy after about 20 weeks. The secret? Uh ... try not to barf a lot?

Girl your are not big yet!!! Remember my girls were 6.10 and 7.7lbs @ 35 wks! I hope for the health of your little ones that you bake for @ least another month!
*the last month is the hardest physically and mentally*

Haha, I know! I know! True HUGENESS is yet to come! :)
They'll be in for another month. Let's not say I swear/promise/etc cause ... y'know ...
But I'm just pleased my doctor won't let me get to the point where I'm carrying 16 lbs of baby.

Ohhhh, I bet breathing and eating are becoming a pain... I was talking to DH this morning about how in a couple of weeks I'm really going to have serious trouble taking deep breaths (he gets worried every time I make myself breathe deeply, he's gonna have to get used to it, I've got months to go), so that's on my mind right now. *lol*
You look good though. :) And I hope those babies are mature as well as big! Good luck!!

:lurk:
I have a friend with 2 sets of twin. First set b/g - one was 9lbs something other was 8 something. Second set of twin - identical boys - 9 something! 20+ lbs of babies in each pregnancy! Her next two were singleton girls who were "small" at almost 9 lbs.
