Update...

I am sure you all have updates and I would love to hear them if you are still around!!

We are buying a minivan. So, don't let me judge anyone on the cost of their stroller. Or anything else for that matter. And we are splurging on a Honda Odyssey.

The twins are about 3 pounds each. I still have not done my glucose tolerance test. I am probably going to have my nurse just check some glucoses on me in the office and see how bad it is. If it is not too bad, I might forget to schedule it. I am seeing the NP in my OB's office for my 32 week appointment. I wonder how many twin pregnancies they see. They don't seem to have their stuff together in general over there, but I have made it to almost 29 weeks and things seem to be going ok. The babies are growing ahead of schedule and evenly...

I am still working crazy hours.

Glad to hear things are going well so far! I HATED the glucose test - I had to do the 1 hour and 3 hours - ugh!

Take care of yourself and dont' work too hard! Smile

I'm obviously no longer pregnant - but my boys are doing well! They were Rayce: 11.8 lbs and Ryin: 11.3 lbs last week at their 2 month appointment - we are still trying to get into a routine. I went back to work last week, so we are also still adjusting to that.

I think I am the only one pregnant - and I was definitely looking forward to reading the updates of some moms with twins. I know it is going to be so hard, but I don't want to be pregnant forever.

Your boys are growing so fast. I am so glad you found time to post. I have to go back to work after about 8 weeks.

Who is caring for your babies while you are at work? How do you get any sleep at night?

My SIL watches them, she also watched my DD, so it's great!

Sleep is getting better....they get up once, and I *think* they are working on STTN...we'll see. We have to co-sleep, because they like to be held (even for naps sometimes), but we will work on that later!

We co-slept with my son because it was the only way to get him to sleep. That is so nice to have your SIL watch them... what a huge relief. I can't believe your babies are already such amazing sleepers. I am sure it is very, very tough going and you are exhausted, but it sounds like you are doing well.

CONGRATS on making it to almost 29 weeks. At this point each week I considered it a bonus week and lucky. My girls are 7 weeks old last check up 2 weeks ago they were 8lbs 10 oz and 8 lbs 4 oz. (they were 6 lb 10.5oz and 6lb 10oz at birth). Life with twins is pretty crazy and pretty amazing . Time is flying by my days pass so quickly but i am loving every minute of it. You will love your minivan i sure do with 4 kids its the pefect vehicle. I will say sleep while you can as in 7 weeks i have yet to get a decent night of sleep, although the last 2 months of pregnany I slept terribly anyways.

I am glad things are going well. We need a minivan, but we have surivived almost 3 years without one. We can survive a few months longer. We still have some time left on our Camry loan, and I refuse to roll any part of a loan into a new car loan. My DS needs to move out of his carseat though, so I am hoping we will have a new minivan in a few months (fingers crossed).

My twins will be 3 in a couple of weeks. What? Where did the time go? Life with twins is really busy and time flies. Be prepared. I am not really sure how 3 years have flown by so fast. It makes me kind of sad because their early years are a total blur.

Yesterday I had contractions every 5 minutes for several hours when I got home from work. I know I did too much on my feet. Drives me crazy because I don't think the ob-gyn is really taking my symptoms seriously. I opted not to see the perinatologist because I did not think I needed to. But that might have been a bad idea. Lying in bed on my left side is sooo boring. I get so lonely.

Yeah, I ended up at L&D... but things still look good. Woke up with contractions every 4-5 minutes. Fetal fibronectin is negative and I am going to have a cervical length check later this week. It has at least been 7 weeks since my last trip. If I can just make it to 34-35 weeks I won't worry about those BH anymore.

Yay to making it so far. You are doing amazing. Everyday in there is an amazing thing. Hopefully you don't end up back in L&D until it is really go time (around 37 weeks!).

As for the mini van, we couldnt do it. Not yet. So we got an overpriced SUV that the kids are destroying! Thank goodness we got all the upgrades just for them to be ruined!

Good luck and KUP Smile

Tiffany, I had tons of BH's with my twin pregnancy and spent lots of times at L&D. It's quite common, especially the BH's, etc. Hang in there...you'll be 34 weeks before you know it. Smile

Lots of rest and lots of water!!! I was lucky that my BH were not too bad. I did drink about a gallon of water everyday though. My girls were also pretty small, which I think helped. Take care.

Ugh, sorry, it's rough. I was contracting all the time from 16 weeks on. It got worse and I was pulled out of work at 26 weeks with a shortening cervix. BUT I made it nearly to 38 weeks with lots of bedrest. So take it easy! It's too easy to do too much. Will you be kicked out of work yet? I felt like the hardest time to take it easy was when people were trying to be nice and entertain me ... don't lift a finger for anyone, and kick them out of your house entirely the minute your contractions get out of control. This part is ROUGH! You can do it!!!
