Wah!

I have officially reached the end of being able to sleep and live like a human being and not whine all day long. I'm tired, I'm sore, and this is miserable.

:bigarmhug: You can do it. It sucks, and it will get worse, but you will feel fantastic when those babies are born. With my singleton, I didn't feel a ton different after he was born. After the girls were born, I felt awesome (well besides the c-section stuff). I could breathe and eat again. It was such a difference.

I've borrowed a Snoogle from my BFF & let me tell you, it is amazing. Don't get me wrong I still wake up in pain but it has honestly made a REAL difference.

Oh God yes, I'm fully aware that that was only Day 1 of Complete and Total Misery, with a forecast for increased miserableness to a level I cannot possibly comprehend in the coming weeks! My sister (who only has her babies one at a time - pshaw!) also suggested the Snoogle. I'll have to take a look at that.

I will say this round of miserableness was brought to me by the baby shower. I had a special dispensation to get out of the house for my shower and was stressed to the point of no sleep the night before just thinking about how people were going to say things like, "Why don't you sit down?" thinking they're being nice but not realizing that sitting is exactly the same as standing is exactly the same as lying on my right side, also known as: the Worst Thing Ever. And then the night after the shower I got no sleep because of the endless contractions and my atrophied muscles feeling like I had spent a week skiing.

That said, the baby shower was absolutely amazing. Want to see?

You look FANTASTIC! The shower looks amazing as well. The food pics make me hungry. Smile

As far as sleeping/being comfy - I had probably 6-7 pillows on my bed, one of which was a super soft down pillow I stuffed between my belly and the bed to help support it. Best of luck trying to stay comfy...it really is worth it in the end! Hang in their momma!!

You look great! And the shower looks grand! How fun!

and yes, it gets worse, unfortunately, but as Mel said, you feel so much better after they are out (well, that rib of mine was bruised for like months after... lol)

You look terrific....food looked delicious...and I HEAR you on being so miserable. There is NO comfortable position.. I am having nearly constant contractions even with the Procardia 4X a day...I am so ready to evict these babies, but know it is really best to keep baking for several more weeks. My OB says let's get to 35 weeks....my personal goal has been 37, but the way I feel, I cannot imagine another full month of this.

You hang in there!! It will all be worth it soon.....

You really do look great! Biggrin I am glad the shower went well even though it caused some stress for you. Yes, the days will be long and some will be harder than others. You can do it though. It is for a very temporary amount of time. Hang in there! :bigarmhug:

Aww, thanks for letting me whine, girls! I've been catching up on my sleep and feeling SOOOOO much better. I reached 30 weeks today and will definitely be napping and lying around from here on out!
