Hello ladies....so I think its prob still early but at what point is it a hood idea to pack the hospital bag....I know way earlier than my first I waited til totally last minute...
But.how early is the norm for multiples anything different than for a singleton besides extra set of clothing for the extra baby LOL??
I think any time after 28 weeks (just my opinion).
I just gave birth 3 weeks ago and I can tell you I used almost nothing I packed. The only stuff I used was - one outfit for each of the boys, my shower stuff, one outfit for me, my camera, and my computer. I had a rough recovery though and spent most of it laying in bed hooked up to iv's.
I finished packing my bag the day before I gave birth. I am kind of a procrastinator though.![]()
This is a good question. Never packed a bag with DS1 cause I was having a home birth & this literally slipped my mind. MW's were not too thrilled when I had to be transferred due to PPH & I had nothing ready. So this time I'd like to be prepared if only to avoid having to use the random things DH threw in a bag for me...a nice tank top with lace, a pair of nice comfy pants but were pale, pale pink (threw them away), no socks (in the middle of a blizzard), no lotion (skin was so dry). He tried his very best.
I'm thinking I'll get this done before 30 weeks.
In the states they do give us diapers but I can tell you as far as useage goes, my twins need their diaper changed at least every time they eat which is every 3 hours. That is a minimum of 16 diapers per day. With accidents and the like, I would assume to take at least 20 diapers per day.
now that the diapers are brought up.....what size do they need when they are first born....should i buy some preemie diapers or size 1.....i cant remember if their is a newborn size..lol.......i will prob just add a few diapers to the bag but not a whole pack.....ugh i feel so behind since i havent started getting anything...
