**Lots** of cards and a layout

I made cards from the time Kayson went to bed last night until 1am making these! LOL! After I finished the first 11 for the order I was thinking $33 didn't seem like that much. (at $3/card.) Oh well, it's more of a fun hobby. You can't really put a price on time.
DH took the camera with him to work, so I had to wait until tonight to take pics and it was almost dark, so these are all a bit fuzzy.

I made FOUR of these. I used my hole punch to create the yellow dots then glued each one onto the lighter yellow cardstock. Time consuming, but I love how they turned out. Oh and the fluer d'lis (sp?) is a rub-on.

And I made one more without the bling:

Three guys' birthday cards. They are always my hardest! The customer was pretty specific with names/ages, so I made one with a "T".

(You can't really see the brown brads at the bottom, but they're there.) Smile

Two teenager girls' cards:

Another bluebird card:

Religious:

Young girl birthday card. (Transparency card)

Two Anniversary Cards:

And a Thank You:

Whew! Biggrin TFL if you made it this far.
And another July 4th layout.

those cards are gorgeous!!! and you're right, you can't put a price on time. I know for the photo cards I do, I don't charge nearly enough for my time. but at the same time, to get customers you can't charge too much. hopefully you can figure out a good way to be time efficient and feel better about the money coming in. Wink $3/card is a steal for that beautiful work!

Love the layout! it's so cool how you zoomed in on his face for the second picture. I like that idea, will have to borrow it. Wink

Oh my! That layout is adorable. I can't believe those pictures, how sweet!

The cards look great. I can understand why the time would not equal the pay, but still cool that you sold some Smile

Your cards are always beautiful I really like the young girl see through one. And I agree that $3 a card is a steal. You couldn't go to a store and buy one as nice as yours even close to that.

I love that lo. He looks absolutely tuckered out.

Those are gorgeous! I think the Love one is my fave....so do they just tell you specifics of who they are for and you make them up with what you think will work ? Is this in addition to opting to buy the ones right on your site or instead of ?

I agree w/ everyone else that $3 is a steal. You can't go to the store and find hand made cards that nice. You usually pay $3 for a printed on graphic (either computer generated or hand drawn).

Kayson is so cute in that LO! He looks so big!

The customer wrote me an email of 11 people she needed cards for and what their gender/birthdates were. (Plus two anniversary cards) She said to go from there. On one of them she asked me to figure something out with jeeps or jeep colors (if I could), but I don't have anything jeep related (she was fine with that), so that is the one I did in green and red. I hope she likes them. She is an aquaintance and lives in my town, so I didn't want to charge her shipping or anything off Etsy. If anyone wants special order cards and order more than 6 I'm going to just put $3/each on them. Hopefully that will make local people start buying them.

Thank you for the sweet comments everyone.
