Question ***Help me finish this LO please - - - Updated with finished LO!

    Updated:
Here is what I ended up with:

The darker paper didn't photograph as well, the real deal has more contrast but the pearlescence comes through too heavily in the pic.

    details along on the bottom:

    ---------------------------------------------------------
I started this LO the other daya nd I love the journalling, quote, and pics but I got this far and now I'm stumped on how to finish it. It looks way to boring IMO to be done, but I don't know what to add to not overdo it. Any suggestions?

I'm going to Archivers today to see if I can pick up any ribbon or embellishments that could work with this but I still have no idea. I'm thinking of changing the light blue background, that is starting to look all wrong to me.

Thanks for looking and any input.

Maybe along the top and bottom you can make it more into a border of some kind...I am trying to think of what you could add to make a nice border. Maybe some ribbon?

I think a dark navy blue would make the pics pop. I also think if you move both pics over just a bit so the silver paper is showing cause the pic is lined right up to the edge. Can you mat the pics in white? I know you don't have a lot of room but you could make the mats just a bit larger than the pics. You could add 3 star brads in silver after Kaelyn so it would be like Kaelyn... but with stars. If you wanted more you could hang a star embellishment with fibers or ribbon off the bottom right corner of the silver paper so the star would be hanging down on the backround blue paper. Just some idea's feel free to ask any ?'s.

I am not good at telling others what to do, I have enough trouble with my own LOs. But Tia gave you some great advice, she's good at that.

Those pics are adorable and the quote is perfect!

I was going to say what Kalee said, add something to the top and bottom. Then I looked at it again, and was thinking a neat silver mesh that ran on the bottom and top would be neat, something where you could still see the paper. I know what I'm talking about, but not sure if I'm conveying it right.

Tia - I really liket he star idea because then I can follow that theme to fill the outside a little. I am going to replace the outter paper.

I looked in 2 stores and wasn't happy with any of the ribbons for this otherwise that would have been a good idea.

Gwen - That sounds like a great idea but unfortunately I have no such mesh. At least I'm pretty sure IKWYM. Either way I haven't seen anything like that the last time or two I went for supplies.

Thanks for the help ladies, I think I'll just continue to play with it and it will hopefully turn out.
