Default 10 down, 54 more to go

Alright Charys, here is what I have done so far.

I'm using everything that I already had at home... and a lot of things I hadn't used in quite a long while. That's why they are all sorts of colors. I have two basic designs on the houses, so that I could sit and stamp 32 at a time and not really think of it. So all this has really cost me is time, since I'm getting rid of clutter, eyelets I wasn't using, etc. The only things that I use regularly are the stamps, the glue and the stickles.

    We should trade. LOL

I'm going to have extra roofs (eyelet in and string strung) and bottom pieces when I'm done. I made extras for mistakes, and not knowing what colors I wanted to use with what. I am going to give them away for FREE. I'm so done with birdhouses right now. LOL

We should. I know what you mean about being done....and I only did 6! If I'd have done 10 I'd be ready to throw them out the window. lol

It's the holding the roof for a ten count so the glue "takes" that's annoying me. Well that and glue on the finger for the wall seam.

My goal is to get 25 more done today. That'll have me over half done. I have to have them done by Dec 2nd and I'm going to Wisconsin the 27-29.

Our Ladies Aid does an annual Christmas Party. Every other year I get elected to the Decorating committee. (The years I'm not on that, I get elected to the Program Committee). It's a decorating year... and sweet as the other ladies on the committee always are, I just don't have the patience to hold their hand and talk them through the steps of a craft EVERY time they complete one. So my friend and I (who gets elected on the years I'm not- LOL), have made the executive decision that it will take less stress and less time overall to just provide the take-home favor ourselves each year.

So this year they'll get birdhouse ornaments. Last year, my friend made Christmas Cards.
