Thank you Kelly for the great idea about re-doing a clock! I didn't do MUCH to this one but I did put a wedding pic in it! It's from an old calendar I had printed off and I didn't know what to do with the pics...this worked out nicely to re-use one of them! It sits right above my scrap desk by the way, the clock was $1.25 from the dollar store...I think I see some ultra cheap Christmas present ideas for my family! lol
this card is for Wayne for Valentine's Day. I have wanted to use this little heart robot for some time and how no idea how. I know it's super corny but do you think it works? lol
I have to tell you a lil background on this card. It's for my friend I used to live with on her farm back before I met Wayne...I was super city and she was always doing things to make me more country...one was throwing me towards all her pigs, chickens, cows...and if I would flinch she'd go "you're such a city kid" and give my cheek a big wet sloppy kiss cuz she knew it grossed me out. LOL. When I moved home (not over the kissing haha) she would write me letters and put "SLUUUUUUURP!" (as her kisses)...7 or 8 years later she still does. I found this pig pic in some junk mail and knew exactly what to do with it. lol
Karen, good work here!
That is a really neat idea for clocks...and such a pretty picture.
The two cards are really great too...I love the robot in the first one and think that pig picture is perfect to send your friend! Good job!
you are great! I mean it, your posts make me smile, I have a huge grin right now.
I love the clock, that's awesome! and I'm digging the robot card, too cute. Love the story behind the slurp card, which makes the card PERFECT!

Your cards are so unique and wonderful. I bet the recipients have never thrown a single one away that you've made them. How could they, when practically every card you create has a special meaning and/or story to it? I just love these two! The robot card is great....and the pig card is one of my all-time faves...especially the funny story behind it.
You looked amazing in your wedding!! You know that only means that you are going to have to post more wedding pics now.
