journaling: Nathan got this truck for his 1st birthday. At first he needed help to push it and to steer. By the time he was 13 or 14 months old, he pushed it so fast and turned with ease. He would push it from the living room to the kitchen, where he would play with the "Fridge Farm" Then he pushed it back to the living room. He did this over and over...where does the energy come from?!?!

I feel like this one is a little empty between the top pic and the title...perhaps another orange road cone or another sign??? thoughts?

ETA: the top one is very plain, for my style. Originally I had planned to put stuff along the top where the solid green paper is, but then when I got to this point, I didn't want to make it too busy. Does it look like it needs more?

Love them!! The title on the first one is soo cute. I don't think needs anything else at all. The second one is way cute. Awesome job with the 'street' and sign.

The first is not too plain at all! The black ribbon frame and cool title are great and make the picture the focal point. Love both of them! Smile Did you hand-cut the street on the second layout or is that part of the paper? CUTE!!

I hand cut it...in fact I finished this yesterday but didn't have any black paper. so I bought some more last night and did the road today

oh, I'm loving these! I really like how you did the date on the first one. And the second is too cool! love the road and the out of bounds crop on the left picture. I wouldn't change a thing, I think it's terrific.

Great job on the playtime 'extraction' - it really looks like he's going to wander down the 'road'! And I don't think the first one needs anything, but if it's bugging you, try moving the ripped paper more under the photo, to fill up some of the 'white' space. That title is awesome, by the way - I'm going to scraplift that! Smile
