Default Acrylic Mini Album: Christmas '08 VERY PIC HEAVY!!

I thought up the name for this mini-album a long time ago (laying in bed one night before Christmas....lol) and the name for the 2008 mini-album I'm going to work on during the crop. I guess the cover page is probably my favorite page and the only one I'm really proud of. But I do like it and will keep it. I'm just happy to get it done in 2 evenings! I made it by cutting my 8.5x11 transparency sheets in half, then half again. (quarters.)

Cover page "had ourselves a Merry little Christmas"

these pages didn't photograph well at all. They look so much better IRL, because you can see the transparency as you flip. I cut all of the page "files" from my Fabulous Finds cartridge. (First I printed lines on white cardstock to create the notebook look.) I was able to use up the white paper that came with my refill sheets, so that was nice.

holly leaf is from the Christmas cartridge

I outlined all the photos in a white pen to keep a theme going throughout. (yes, I fixed the above photo after uploading this. lol)

You see how the clear page looks by itself?

    snowflakes are from Home Accents

white reindeer cut from Christmas Cheer. I outlined it in red chalk and drew a red heart in the middle.

"grandparents" cut from DonJuan, photo corners are from Jasmine

what the grandparents page looks like by itself.

    the end!

LOVE this!!! Another great use for those transparency sheets!

Cover page is my fave too, but I like the whole book.
I really like the white outline on all the pics... it really did tie everything together. And I really like the "grandparents" title page with the photo corners.

oh, and I might have to scraplift that title one of these days... very clever

Looks like you all had a wonderful holiday together
my ticker was taking up too much space, so: Robby-Apr06, Johnathan & Matthew-Mar08... you do the math. LOL

Holy Christmas album. Is it possible for you to be more talented? The book idea is wonderful and the pages are beautiful!

How big are most of the pictures? (Trying to vision how big it really is)

thank you!! I just measured it and it's about 6"x4.5" including embellishments. And about 1.5 inches deep.

I put them in a basket with my other mini-albums on a shelf. It collects odds and ends.

That's amazing! What/how did you adhere your pics? and is that like a overhead transparency sheet? I'm trying to vision this in my head.
    I love the title BTW!

Yep, I'm addicted to those overhead transparencies!! LOL You can do sooo much with them! I used a wrinkle-free glue stick for almost everything. With the pics I used photo square adhesives. They come in boxes of 100 [8.5x11 inch] sheets at almost any office supply store. Ash (AshnBill) mentioned she bought hers' at Target, so they are readily available. When I cut them down, they are the size of an average greeting card. (1/4 a sheet.)
