Altered canvas and a LO

I made this canvas for a baby shower next week. I was very happy with how it turned out and it cost me about $7.

And a new LO. I kinda feel like it needs a little something in the pink box on the right page. Maybe just some journaling?

very nice canvas! i think for the LO, some journaling on the pink square would be good or another diecut shape???

that canvas is beautiful! i think some journaling would be the perfect touch on the LO. If a spot looks a little off on a page, i always add journaling to it Lol

That canvas is soooo awesome Lena! Do you buy it like at craft stores and then just put scrap paper on it? LOVE it seriously!! Great LO too!!

That name canvas is adorable! I bet the mother will LOVE it!

That pink box on the right would be the perfect spot for journaling.

I bought a 10x20 canvas at Hobby Lobby using my 40% off coupon so I think it cost me about $5. I also bought some acrylic paint (for .99)while I was there. I put two coats of paint on my canvas, made my cuts on the Cricut, and glued them to the canvas. Then I just put 2 layers of Mod Podge over everything. The last thing I added was the ribbon and the button is stuck on with glue dots.
It was super easy. I don't have a tutorial but I have the products that I used listed on my blog.

That canvas looks excellent! It will be the talk of the shower (with the exception of the mother and baby of course!)

the canvas looks great! strange to see my name there thought, I never see my name anywhere! Wink

okay, why are the faces covered in your layout? I do agree that the pink box needs something. do you have ticket stubs or something that can go there if you don't journal?
